Bad guys and romance

Exciting New series. Great first book. First time mm romance and some hot 🔥 sex scenes. Michael Dean did an awesome job bringing the characters to life, hopefully they will follow over into the next book. Nice writing Patricia Logan, Bring on the next audio book in the series. Worth the credit and your time to listen.

Narrator Michael Dean used his full arsenal of talent in delivering an action-packed tale about Kane, a special in the ATF, who is approached by the FBI to assist them to put a criminal from his past, as well as his son behind bars, by going under cover. He meets Luca, who works at a jewelry store that got robbed, by the crime family. As Kane started to investigate the robbery, he is totally shocked by the attraction to Luca, as he is 100% not gay. The reaction was extremely funny and very well done. He fought the attaration and tried everything in his power to ignore it. But, the more he tries to ignore his attraction, the more Luca pops up and ruin his attempts.

The plot was well developed and at times heart-pounding tensed moments created a memorable high angst tale with bursts of funny moments.

I do recommend this audiobook as the author created a well, developed world connecting to the rest of her books. If you enjoy them, you will certainly enjoy this.

Awesome.

This book was awesome. I really enjoyed it. I really like how this book is in the same world as Patricia's other series. My only problem is Kane. Kane is really crappy to Luca over and over and over again. I can't believe all the stuff Kane put Luca through. It made it really hard to like Kane. Overall, I loved it and recommend it.

Fun, Sexy Tour of a "Straight Man's" Mind!

A low angst, very romantic story of two men finding what the truly neeed, inspite of themselves! Very well crafted between the engaging story formula, and the burgeoning romance coming to life. Sweet & caring evolution, which was quite believable at the pace Ms. Logan set. Michael Dean's voice made the journey very interesting & sexually charged in all the right places!!
