Enjoyed this book a lot

Stories were meaningful although the content was a little dated. The speaker had a pleasant voice and kept a good cadence.

In the process

Awesome book! It covers so many topics. Through this book, I know when to get investors involved, how to approach them, how to see my pitch from their point of view, and how to determine whether I want them if they want me. I'm so happy with my purchase!

Smart, sharp, and on point

This book will set you on the path to understanding when, where and how to look for external funders for your entrepreneurial venture. It covers the ground without being too flowery, but also leaves the content graspable for beginners.

Startup funding essentials dissected

This is a fantastic book for anyone to begin their journey into the venture capital world. I really like the first 2 chapters, where the author bottom lines the research that goes into both a VC firm, and the partners within it. Excellent work.

Great book on startup funding

This is a great book, and will give the businessperson with an idea and a dream the tools to make their first investment pitches. My only gripe is that there isn't any chapters on enticing international investors. Very happy with my purchase otherwise.

Intro to the startup culture

I am loving this book. Having never pitched an idea to a venture capital firm, this book taught me to interview the investors as much as they're interviewing me. Much like cars, not all investors are suitable for all needs. I like that the author doesn't go over your head with ridiculous concepts and nomenclature. A well done book for the layman's benefit.

Solid bits of information

This book is well done. It attacks what could be a verbose, overcomplicated topic and breaks it down to understandable, easy to digest concepts. Solid information, good examples.

practical book

I coach startups in the EU to transform their idea into a successful business. During that process the finance part is a critical phase and a phase where future entrepreneurs are not familiar with.
