The High republic keeps better and better!!
These books are some of my favorite star wars books!! I’m sad that it’s ending next year, but am very much looking forward to starting all over and binge reading them all again before Trials Of the Jedi comes out next Summer!!

Great Story
I enjoyed the story immensely, but the voices of characters in this book don’t sound anything like their voices in other books, causing some confusion. Star Wars books also typically have sound effects and music, and this one did not, which was disappointing.

Amazing addition to Star Wars cannon!
This book adds to and builds upon Star Wars cannon. Not only do we get ties to stores spanning the entirety of the High Republic (books and comics!), but we get some [SPOILER] interesting teases of ancient history of the Star Wars universe.
All this within a fantastic story with my favorite nerdy Jedi, Reath Silas!

Voice acting is ehh
Amazing story. The continuation we needed and action we deserved. Now I’ll be blunt. As a former vocalist I’m disappointed in the performance. There was little to differentiate the characters from each other and the readers energy rarely matched the setting at hand leaving her (Leox in particular) impersonations almost painful to hear. There’s free audio engineering software out there that’s so easy it can show you how to record, add fx and master in less than an hour. Please please dedicate some time and research to improve the voice acting of Amber. PLEASE.

What in the budget cuts just happened?!
This experience was saved by the great story. Star Wars is known for having some of the best audiobook productions out there so I was surprised when I noticed there was no music or sound effects at all. It felt very rushed in comparison to other Star Wars audiobooks.
The narrator struggles sometimes, I think she has done a good job on her previous high republic narrations. She does okay with her younger male characters but really struggles with the older ones. They simply sounded the same and way older than they are in the story. I know Yoda is a hard voice to achieve but wow..
Overall, this might be my favorite YA novel in all of the high republic. Great characters and development in the overall story that I haven’t seen in other YA books in this era. So if you can look past the sometimes laughable performance and production, I think there is a lot to like here.

A positive change in direction for the serious
I was almost ready to give up on the High Republic series after the last book and its inexplicable focus on romance, and previous books that just kept throwing new characters into the mix without any emotional investment. Tears of the Nameless wisely focuses on some core characters, and moves the whole story forward

Phase 3 again hits it out of the park
Another gripping story in the climax of the high republic storyline, we’re getting answers, we’re seeing how it all comes together. And even knowing which characters survive to future stories I was on the edge of my seat worried for them

Good story per usual with the high republic. Always enjoy the high republic. Is this enough words yet…..no ok how about now. Nope still not enough how about now. Yep still not enough. Anyways how are you? I am good I enjoyed this book.
