Vader is truly a master of evil

I really liked how it showed Vader from different characters perspectives and I really enjoyed how this was a catalyst for vader to go seek answers of the dark side himself and all he wants is to resurrect padme like we have seen before in the VR game and the comics and this is his first attempt

Good build up to the final couple hours of this audiobook.

Better than what I had expected. Great narration as usual and the story was pretty good. I enjoyed the connection with the Clone Wars and some of the characters from that time.

Great story about Vader

While some have said the book/audiobook isn't about Vader, it actually is exactly about Vader. The story starts off about a royal guard, and at times there are some chapters that deal mostly with that character. The character being employed by the Emperor to spy on Vader. There are also chapters dealing only with Vader (such as when he leads older clone troopers to a secret location). The story starts pre-Vader with Count Dooku, and how he hid a temple of power from the Darth Sidious. Are there slow chapters, yeah. But overall it's cohesive and wonderful.

The voice acting is great, a bit too intense. Sometimes the subject matter is fairly boring but the narration describes it like a fight to the death, when it's just about copying data to a drive. But overall great story.

A great addition to canon!!

Master and apprentice finally puts forward a story that Lucas film should find worthy of its entry into Cannon. This is a fantastic tale of Darth Vader‘s first years as the enforcer of the emperor. I absolutely love this book and wish that Disney and Lucas film would tell more stories that are this good.
