Wonderful book

loved it .Very hard to put down. read it and the others before you won't regret .

Good Story

love the religious references, however additional research needed on military protocol. If you can get past the military portal mistakes this story is a page turner.

Excellent mystery & romance

There is a lot more praying in this one than any of the others. The story kept you guessing, I never figured out the main culprit. The one I thought was it only played a minor role. I loved the kids & dogs places in the story. Great job Ms Black. Definitely worth listening too.

evil being overcome

this book was an amazing stand alone book in a wonderfully written series by several top notch writers. this book takes you from very many lows where it looks like evil has overcome and some time it does. the most heartbreaking plot was a very precious little girl named alli who had many nightmares screaming "bad man hurt man" it really broke my heart. Her dad is being investigated for being an accomplice to a killer and so many things. he is looking for a friend from Afghanistan to provide his proof he is innocent but the man cannot be found. Will they find the truth before he is arrested and he loses his little girl? Will the bad man and hurt man be found? so many other questions surround this book and the books before it. buy it, buy them all. they are amazing by themselves but together they are unforgettable

irritated

this story makes military police look like buttheads and idiots...preschool teacher...little girl and a beagle solve something these guys didn't because they were busy turning on one of their own...not even listening or looking into the truth..plus put the little girl at risk time and time again....
