Krishna Dharma has condensed the epic into a fast paced novel that fully retains the majestic mood of the original. A powerful and moving tale, it recounts the history of the five heroic Pandava brothers, sons of the Emperor Pandu.

Story
These 1028 poems, grouped as 10 ‘Circles’ (mandalas), have variously been called hymns, poems or songs by Sanskrit scholars. The Rik (so pronounced by the ancient Angirases clans, or Seer-Priest families) was an experiment with sound. The emphasis is always on sounding the words perfectly. The focus tends to be on the ideas rather than on the authors in Vedic literature, they are largely religious in nature, reflecting the world view and spiritual preoccupations of ancient India.

Publisher's Summary
This audiobook contains a collection of spiritual tales designed to calm your mind and help you experience the Power of Now. These selected stories prove that the basic teachings of ancient Hinduism share the same elementary truths than those presently taught by Eckhart Tolle, as evidenced by the writings of Swami Sivananda, Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, Ramana Maharshi, and other renowned Hindu masters.
As you will see, both teachings are based on the notions of the illusory world, the ego, the "mental chatter", the self, inner peace, and enlightenment, as well as the importance of meditation and learning to live in the now.

Great Stories to Help You Concentrate!
Loved the stories chosen to be told in this audiobook. Lot of enlightening lessons and teachings are gained through listening to this. I enjoyed it and found it a treat and it helped me to concentrate, while I worked.
The only criticism I have is, I found it a bit distracting hearing the narrator turn the pages while reading. Would have been a 5 rating with a more seasoned narrator.
If you enjoy uplifting stories and ways to calm your mind, then give this audiobook a go.
I received this audiobook in return for my honest review.

At the promise of becoming "like" God we cannot BE God. Nor part of His nature. Wow! The veil of individuality is enjoyed so much that we fail to seek God, stillness, peace. One with His nature 😁.
