Slow to get going

Spells for Forgetting is beautifully written and the setting is perfectly creepy. However, the plot is slow to get going. It has interesting characters that draw you in, but most of the action happened long before this particular story begins and they just sit and talk about it for more than half the book. By the end, however, the action picks up and it all comes together. It’s worth pushing through to the end.

Interesting but slow

The story was interesting but was anticlimactic and a bit predictable. The author does a fantastic job at describing the island and the people, but the storyline was slow for me.

Basic Witch Story

A good listen. Overall, entertaining, but forgettable. A bit formulaic. Didn't hate or love it.

Easy to follow riding

I liked that it was a short read and easy to follow for a multiple POV but I wish it would've had more excitement at the end.

My first encounter with this author. Well done. Well done. Entertaining, mysterious, kept us guessing til the end.
