So true!!

I love that this story was true to life about pregnancy and parenthood. It isn't all roses. Jessica did an amazing job with this story. And Joe and Emma always do a wonderful job bringing everything to life! Lots of emotions in this!I loved it!!!

Chapter Three, oh my!

If you ever find yourself in a book funk this book would be the perfect cure. I have come to appreciate a slow burn some, however, they aren’t my favorites. So this, this book right here is exactly what I was looking for. If you want a steamy, sexy read then you came to the right place. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of feelings packed in it too. It has hate sex and making love. Opposites attract in the best way. Julia and Greyson go on an amazing journey through pregnancy and love. Learning how to balance work and life. You don’t have to do things in a particular order to find happiness. If a grumpy, alpha male is your catnip like it is mine then grab this one up. I definitely recommend this book. This was a reread for me and I enjoyed it just as much the second time around. Duet style narration. The two narrators were amazing. The perfect amount of growl.

Great Story!!

Another great installment of this series. Looking forward to the lady in the series. EW’s narration is on point, as usual. She’s the best. No spoilers and worth the credit. I have some trepidation about the North Carolina series, since the female lead is not one I know, but will give it a try.

Another amazing love story by Jessica Peterson! I love the Charleston Heat series! While this is book #3 in the series it can absolutely be read as a standalone. In Southern Gentleman we meet Greyson, a venture capitalist and Julia, an English lit professor and architectural designer in her spare time. This book has a captivating story line, interesting and well developed characters as well as enough swoon and steam to melt your Kindle or listening device. The narration by Joe Arden and Emma Wilder is phenomenal, they bring Grey and Julia to life in the most spectacular way! When Greyson and Julia meet at a job site he’s financing and she’s decorating, they fight like cats and dogs over every design detail and every penny in the budget. Their love/hate relationship quickly turns into passionate affair that surprises both of them and their fling quickly develops into so much more...

“My heart rises. Through my chest, throat. Mouth. It’s outside my body. It doesn’t belong to me anymore.”

The question now - is Grey going to be able to let go off his past to be Julia’s future?

Grey and Julia

The third installment of the series brings us Greyson and Julia. They seem like oil and water, he's stuffy and she's a bit boho. But they crave each other. So much that they immediately start fooling around in the backseat of his car, regularly. Hate f*cking is their thing.
Then, you guessed it, she becomes pregnant. It's a story of growth, compromise, forgiveness and love. I personally didn't see a 'wrong' or 'right' person, I felt they both needed to compromise and learn.
The narration was wonderful, Joe and Emma's delivery of southern Charleston accents were spot on. To top it off, Emma has to read the romance novels in an English accent - and that's perfection. Her male voice delivery of Joe's famous F*****ck kind of rivals him too.
Also we get to see Olivia and Eli's wedding! And more of Luke too!!
