Publisher's summary

Nothing is ever as it seems. In a world where lies and deceit rule, my carefully hidden secrets weren’t an exception. The privileged hide behind masks that only elitism and power can provide. Yet, I’m still learning just how vile and ruthless you need to become to play their twisted game.

In my naiveté, I thought my heart would always be safe in their hands. But I was wrong. So very wrong. And now I have to live with the tangled mess my actions have created.

There are no winners in the war of treachery and hate. But if you’re soulless enough, you might just survive.

Soulless is the second installment in the Privileged of Pembroke High series that ends in a cliff-hanger.

This is a bully/enemy-to-lovers, #whychoose, new-adult contemporary romance, a full-length novel.

*Recommended 18+ due to mature language, adult situations, and sensitive content.

Delicious angst with a side of cruel

Oh how I love this stuff! Along with other books or series in this genre! The mystery, cruelty, sexiness, evil people and off the charts summer & sexy.
If you like that then also try Meagan Brandy’s “boys of Brayshaw” or my favorite by Amo Jones “Elite Kings series” they are yummy too

Such a compelling love story

I love Rome and Snow together. Snow’s love for the twins was a teenage, immature love, but her love for Rome is adult and mature. Still all three boys will go to the ends of the earth to protect her.

Best book by Ivy Fox, hands down!

Narration for audiobook:

Wowwwww!! This audiobook was addicting and really helped immerse myself in the POPH universe again in anticipation of Elle's duet. The narrators really did a phenomenal job on this one, bringing the love story of Rome and Snow to life. I felt it so much, made me smile once things started to fall into place and the ending killed me. Like I knew it was going to happen and knew the resolution already, but it didnt stop it from hurting any less. Favorite book of the series, hands down. You finally get some resolution in terms of the bullying from the harem, thank goodness because my heart couldn't take much more, and you 10000% fall in love with other characters (who get their story soon!!). Recommend 5/5 on all counts

Review from 2019 (still holds true!):

I might start to ramble so please bear with me haha. I have a trigger for bullying so I was nervous when Ivy came out with this series a couple months ago. I read Heartless and one of the male MCs comments/bullying made me not a fan of him but I fell in love with the story and the MC, Snow, and couldn't wait for Soulless. I thought, there is no way she can outdo herself, especially after that epic cliffhanger at the end of Heartless.

Well she kicked that statement to the curb and made Soulless even better than Heartless, for me at least!! She added so much depth to the storyline, especially with some of the side characters, and I am dying for Faithless already and Soulless just released today haha.

So in Soulless, we get to see how the characters handle the cliffy from Heartless (no I wont give it away) and when things should be settling for Snow and maybe the twins would see the error of their ways, they make things 10000% worse. I wanted to shake them silly, especially Ash, but don't want to give any spoilers away because this book is so amazing, I wouldn't want to ruin it for anyone. I will say that one of the twins wins some brownie points by the end haha. Now onto Roman who I couldn't stand in Heartless. This book was really about him and Snow (#Snowman for life!) and I couldn't help falling in love with him with every chapter. Ivy totally changed my heart with a couple heartfelt and vulnerable chapters and I swooned so hard for Rome that I bumped him up to my fav brother at the moment. No joke, you guys will love him so badly and the chemistry with him and Snow is INSANE!! So 🔥🔥🔥. Ivy definitely stepped up her game and got me to switch sides and be #TeamRoman haha. I think one of my favorite parts of the whole book actually was him doubting himself and needing some reassurance from Snow, and the Christmas scene with the presents. Rome's was so adorable and hit me right in the heart.

Now back to those side characters. Elle totally stole some of the show in Soulless. I want her to be my spirit animal, she is that BA! I loved how she stands up for her family, no matter the consequences. I need her book already, especially after whatever happened over Thanksgiving with Chad and Saint 😍. Vivienne becomes an even worse villain than Judge Grayson and I cant wait to see if any of my theories pan out. I think she is way smarter and manipulative than people give her credit for. Especially with what happened at the end of the book....she better get what's coming to her in an EPIC FASHION! I need her to be destroyed after what she's done to Snow and the Graysons.

Overall and in summary, I think Soulless was my favorite book of Ivy's to date and thats tough after Rotten Girl stole my heart. I think the wait for Faithless is going to kill me, but it will so be worth it in the end. The emotions I felt throughout this book were definitely rollercoaster-esque. I loved how much angst and tension Ivy weaved into this story and how the progression with everyone felt realistic. I am nervous to see more reveals in Faithless regarding the vileness of Judge Grayson and what lengths Vivienne went to to keep her high status in the elite of NYC.

Amazing job, Ivy!! I million times recommend this book and hope people see past the "bully" aspect of it because it really is a love story and lots of misunderstandings. I can't wait to get this on paperback and hopefully on audio too ❤️❤️❤️

What a ride!

This was such a great continuation of Holland's story. After the cliffhanger in the first book, I couldn't wait to grab this one, and I was NOT disappointed. This was such a good read. The development with the boys and the twist made this an unforgettable read!

So much heartache

These poor kids are just trying to get by and instead something is always happening to at least one of them. My heart hurts for them all. And poor Roman. What he has been through is unimaginable. And I love it all!!! I can’t wait to see what happens after this latest cliffhanger. Don’t worry though. The next book is already out.

Another jaw dropping ending

The book picks up where the last one ended with Holland waking up after being attacked by the Judge and Roman, Asher, and Ollie covering the attack. I have an idea of who is guilty but I will have to see if my theory is right in book 3. Elle continue to be a a star especially to Holland with he being in love with her three brothers. I have to say Asher got on my nerves in this book hopefully he will be redeemed in book 3. Loved Roman more and more as the series goes along and I hate Vivian with a passion and I hope she gets what
Is coming for her. Great narration these narrators keep the story flowing well.
