Awesome book

Loved the story. Lots of happy tears. Sexy times too. Wink!!! Kale I did an great job as usual. Loved his narrative in all the series.

A woman over 40...sexy, beautiful, smart! A man's man who makes this story real. Every woman should end up with this strong secure cowboy. A must read!! The best story in the series.

This is my favorite Pamela Clare so far. So romantic and jack, well he’s delicious!

Another great job

It is such a joy to listen to kelo his voice just floats, in and out of your ears. The various voice changes he makes just add a fantastic flair to the performance. He could read the phone book and make me melt.

This one did not disappoint.

Story: nice story about middle aged couple is a refreshing change, and fun to listen to.
Pamela Clare knows how to write great, interesting and intelligent stories!
However, I wish this had more story in it and would have been developed into a full lenght book. I wanted more about the development and struggles in the relationship, more about the shooting mystery etc.

Narration: as always, excellent, amazing voice and good acting!

Story: 4 stars, could have been developed more. Too short for me, and Maybe a bit too 'smooth'

Beautiful relationship

This was a great love story. The mature characters lived out real life with suspense and mystery. The sweetness to this story was heart warming and had that one true element of a Great story ❤️ it left me needing to know more about how they lived their lives out. Would love a sequel to this one or a branch to some of the secondary characters with details of the primary.

Janet Killeen is trying to come back from a bullet wound to the leg that ripped through her body. As FBI she is at a crossroads because of some of her physical limitations. She is looking forward to a weekend away in the mountains to collect her thoughts and adjust to her new body.

Mother nature has plans of her own for Janet. A snowstorm up the mountainside turns into another run in with the horrible, Jack West. Her arch nemesis, well maybe that's a bit too far… But close.

Fantastic Pamela Clare… Though this can be read as a standalone, it fits in nicely with the I–Team series.

While I adore Kealo Griffith, this was an uncomfortable fit as I don't care for his performance of female characters (of which was at least 50%)

Mature love.

Hero Jack West is the father to Nate, a hero in another novella, SKIN DEEP (5 stars in my opinion) in the I-Team Series. Jack is also a grandfather to Nate’s daughter, so you get the idea that Jack is not a young man. I LOVED reading this romance about an older, widowed hero finding love again with an admirable heroine, Janet. While they may have a long-standing antipathy for each other (established in a novel in the I-Team series I haven't read yet), it is not long before they are engaging in a sweet, flirtatious romance that turns sexy hot but tastefully done. This story was romantic in so many ways. I loved it. As it’s a Pamela Clare novel, there is no escaping a well-written parallel suspense story to give the romance an undercurrent of danger for the protagonists to overcome on their way to a lovely happy ever after.

While it’s a part of a series, SOUL DEEP reads very well as a stand-alone. In my case I listened to this novella on Audible in just under 6 hours of pure pleasure.

I can’t imagine a better listening experience for this series because Kaleo Griffith narrates beautifully. He is well cast in the role of sole narrator for the whole series, able to give distinct voices for all characters, and amazing performances for me as a listener to remain riveted to the story, totally hooked.

I highly recommend this novella for a heart-warming read/listen.
