Publisher's summary

After powerful psychic Blue Billings fell in love with Levi Black, he believed their biggest challenges would arise from Blue’s ability to see and speak to the dead. So it’s rather alarming when he and Levi are confronted with a spate of new—and frightening—problems that have to do with the realm of the living.

A sadistic serial killer is stalking their beloved York, and Blue himself is in the killer’s crosshairs. Blue and Levi must race against time to catch the murderer as the deaths increase in ferocity. But when they’re forced from their home, and close acquaintances seemingly disappear like mist over the Minster’s spires, Blue finds that he is completely and terrifyingly on his own, and for the first time in his life, he’s without his powers.

This is the third book in the bestselling Black and Blue series. The books are meant to be listened to in order.

There are descriptions of torture and violent death in this book.

This is creepily awesome

I simply adore Blue and Levi. This story gave me the willies! I loved it! Someone is on a killing spree and the murders are eerily connected to my favorite psychic and his partner in life. This kept me in the edge of my seat and jumping at noises. Joel Leslie is SUPERB!! He honestly brings these stories alive like no one else can. Lily Morton has done it again!

I love this Series!

Lily Morton is my favorite author! I need more books in this series!

This book series, Black and Blue #3 Something Wicked, is a series I continually love to read and get lost in. This book especially was spooky and scary as there was a good deal of gore that I wasn’t expected; it definitely added to the enthrallment of this book.
Levi and Blue, with their friends, are looking for a serial killer which is so interesting. This story has plenty of ghosts and Blue’s abilities getting more intense is very fascinating. Lily Morton continues to do a great job writing this series. The story told in dual perspectives mainly with Blue and Levi, makes the story even more engaging reading from their perspectives. In this story I found it really endearing how Blue and Levi’s relationship has gotten even closer and more dynamic.
Hopefully Lily Morton writes more books in the Black and Blue series! I need more from these characters; I’m in love!

Joel Leslie's narration is perfect as always! His Irish accent is my favorite!

Amazing character development!

I fell in love with these characters in the first book, but Lily Morton has added such depth, and Joel Leslie brings Levi and Blue to life. And just to add, the mystery was really great!

Good Addition to This Series

I have loved this series since book one and this is definitely another good addition. Levi and Blue return in this interesting story and I was thoroughly entertained by their mystery. The audiobook makes the story even better especially with the great narration by Joel Leslie.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Love this book adn these characters!

Joel Leslie does it again! Great performance of a great story!

Man, I could not put this one down. I absolutely loved the banter between the characters – it made me laugh out loud so many times. It is always mind boggling to me how Ms. Morton can take so many serious issues and still make me laugh. There’s a serial killer on the loose and a nasty one at that, and he’s killing homeless people because he just doesn’t like them and thinks they’re worthless. There is major homophobia and hatred of psychics. A new character has his sights set on Levi and Blue has his typical bouts of self-doubt. Meanwhile I’m over here laughing at something Blue or Will quips at each other.

I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the book, wondering how the killer was going to react and when. Blue of course doesn’t help this because he rushes headfirst into very sketchy situations (still).

The relationship between Blue and Levi gets stronger as well. Blue has some self-doubt issues (again) and Levi is quick to reassure him and make him understand how much he’s loved. Blue also shows Levi how important he and his career are to him, and they just really strengthen their bond.
I really loved seeing Blue and Will being a little squishy with each other. They are faced with their past a few times in the book, and it really makes them appreciate what they have now and shows the importance of found family.

Tom is as sarcastic and funny as ever. Rosalind steals the show in this one too.

The epilogue is PERFECT! I really hope we get another book with this group.

Another great one

Levi and Blue are just trying to have a normal life and a serial killer has to come along and try to mess that up. Blues powers are acting really odd, hopeless people are going missing and this killer has it bad to Blue, Rosalind is the absolute best! And we love her. There’s snark, the usual cast of characters, some creep factor and as usual Joel Leslie knocks it outta the park. Please let there be more
