yes. I would they is so many different things that goes though and it does not end like you would expect it

50 shades of Dragons

I found this book to be a trifle hard to get through as I found it distracting. The story line is engaging and the narrator gives a wonderful performance. I would love to hear Meghan's late night pillow talk. I did have to listen with ear plugs as I had several awkward encounters with people while listening on speaker. Altogether, I highly recommend this audio.

I recieved a free copy of this in return for an honest review.I have very mixed feelings about this one ,If you take it for what it is, a bit of fun,a hot fantasy story , then fine.It started well , grabbed me straight away .I was warned that this was rather "racy" so no shock there . The storyline was intersting most of the time , but did to me, start getting a bit rediculous towards the end (riding on a dragon with a mobile phone in her hand ? ??) but if you like raunchy fantasy novels , don't let this put you off, because all in all, there was enough suspense to keep me listening and I enjoyed it.great narration by Meghan Kelly

GREAT storyline. Likable characters. Great narrators. It was definitely worth a credit:) I would love to listen to another story about the Dragons!

Sold to the Dragons is a nice and steamy short novel that takes place some time in the future. The book could use a little more backstory, with a little more thorough explanation and description, however I get it. it's a short novel.
Overall it has a very good storyline with an even better narration.

I will certainly be listening to the following audiobook in the series. I highly recommend using a credit and or money to purchase this audiobook.

I wish hot dragon men shifters were real

I'm longing for a good dragon story. And I finally got one in this story. It was great with steamy sex and a good storyline.

The story had great potential, dragon shifters need fertile women. The main female character had me cringing and wanting to pull my hair out. All she does is wine. This story needed a strong femal. The narrator was ok. Good listen as freebie

Great sexy paranormal read!

Wow, this book is way better than I thought it would be. Sold to the Dragons is a sexy erotic paranormal story. It has a good plot and suspense too, along with hot steamy sex, romance, action, adventure & danger.

Kira Southerly lives in a very poor village and her family is starving. She agrees with her father to sell her at an auction for breeding purposes. The money they make will feed her family forever. At the auction block, Kira almost runs away until she sees her little brother drooling over a guards plate of food. Read along as Kira get purchased by a royal family of dragon shifters and 2 brothers compete for her hand in marriage.

I enjoyed reading this book and even found it to be a fun read. Lots of adventure in it too and an actual story to follow along with. The author, Amira Rain did a fantastic job writing this story. The narrator, Meghan Kelly fully entertained me with all her voices and accents. This book is a perfect example as to how a narrator makes a book even better to read / listen to! If I could have 1 wish, I would love to be able to ride on the back of a dragon as it soars through the sky! Good job ladies!

This book is set a few hundred years after "The Freeze" which decimated the world's population. There were other negative effects on the world caused by "The Freeze" one of which was that dragons, once thought to be mythical, became to roam the earth.

Fertile women are in short supply. So much so that their families are offered huge sums of money to allow these women to be auctioned off once a year.

Kira's family is so poor that her two younger brothers are in danger of starvation. In order to assure her brother's continued survival, Kira agrees to be sold at auction.

Kira is purchased for a huge sum which is enough money to feed the family she is leaving behind for the rest of their lives.

Kira discovers that she has been purchased by a family of royal dragon shifters. These are men who have the ability to shift between human and dragon form at will.

At this point in the story I was definitely intrigued. I was looking forward to learning more about this dystopian post-apocalyptic world. The introduction of dragon-shifters was an interesting twist.

Kira discovers that she has been bought in order to become the mother of a child with one of two royal brothers. The plan is to have sex with both brothers. Once she becomes pregnant the royal doctors say they can determine which brother is the father with a simple drop of Kira's blood.

* SPOILER ALERT*

This is where the book starts to get ridiculous. The author obviously intended that the story take a sexy and erotic turn and has multiple sex scenes. The words "slick" and "rear" are used repeatedly. In fact, they are over-used.

Kira is supposedly stunningly gorgeous. She is unaware of her beauty which makes her even more appealing to men. At the beginning of the book she is like-able, but as the book goes on she starts to come across as a narcissistic bimbo with serious self-control issues.

When the boy's father is kidnapped she offers to give herself up in exchange for his return. This sounds noble, but in fact her offer has nothing to do with wanting to save their father, it has to do with wanting people to think she is brave and wanting to have stories told to her children about how wonderful she is.

After this her behavior only gets worse. She starts fantasizing about having sex with both brothers at the same time. She repeats this fantasy over and over in her mind so often that when it finally does occur the reader is thankful that they will not have to listen to her fantasize about it anymore.

This book has great potential and I would have enjoyed it more if there were more story and less whiny scenes.

I am not sure if it is the way the narrator voices the character or just the way the character was written, but Kira is just plain whiny and there were numerous scenes where I wished I could smack her.

I give this book a 3 out of 5 star rating because of it's potential. I would have rated it higher if it had more story and less gratuitous sex scenes.

Kira and her dragons

I thought this world created by Amira rain was so imaginative. The action and steam was so good in this one. I really liked how things turned out for the ending couple. Meghan did a great job narrating as always.
