Fun fun fun!

I love how this audiobook makes learning how to socialize fun! Too many kids today have very few social skills due to technology, so I can't recommend this audiobook enough. I loved the section on body language and problem-solving skills. Overall, a joy to listen to with my children.

Great Read!

This is a fantastic book, especially in light of the pandemic. I believe that many children lack social skills, and this book contains numerous useful tips, tricks, games, and activities from which they can benefit. The narrator's upbeat, exciting voice is the cherry on top of an excellent read. I find that many children struggle with manners when they are younger, and the author emphasizes the importance of learning eye contact at a young age. I completely agree and will instill this in my children. I would strongly recommend this book to all parents and children; everyone can benefit from it.

Good information about social skills

The basic premise of this audiobook is that it is good for children to learn social life skills.

There are benefits to having good social skills! They help children learn to get along and work together. Also helpful for academic achievement throughout the school years and after!

Other benefits are reduction of stress and loneliness. Improvement academically and later on career achievement.

Social skills start at birth practically! At different ages, milestones are met with new skills common for that age group. These are outlined in the audiobook.

There’s guidance in this audiobook on how to teach your children different tips to help them. It’s really stressed that it is good to have good role modeling in a variety of experiences for your child to be able to grow in this area. And of course discussing as a parent with your child how they are feeling and encouraging appropriate behavior at their age level.

I like how this audiobook is geared to help the parent be involved and aware of helping their child gain good social skills.

Each chapter in lined up with an introduction to a social skill like listening, problem solving, empathy, body language, sharing, coping skills, manners, self control and communicating.

Each chapter breaks down the topic. Next are things you can do with your child to develop new skills like hands on type activities or games! A chapter summary follows at the end of most of the chapters.

The narrator is very positive in her narration and upbeat. I enjoyed listening to her narration.

This is a very comprehensive approach gaining social skills for children 3 to 10 years old. Each of the nine social skills are addressed in a separate chapter. The audiobook is easy to understand. Lots of helpful tools with the activities that are age-appropriate for different age groups. A lot of good teaching and information for the parent/adult about each of the 9 social skills. I would highly recommend this audiobook!

Very Friendly Lady

The voice sounds like a kindergarten teacher. It made me smile because it sounded like she was smiling too! There are so many good activities included. The author is suggesting that children be educated through creative play and hands-on experience. It touches on early listening and how to keep children engaged. Positive body language was a really great add. My favorite section covered the effectiveness of restriction vs guidance. This is good read for parents, grandparents and caretakers.
