A millenials Nostalgic thriller experience

The story had me from the first page. Miranda did an amazing job creating a tantalizing thriller that had all the key elements of iconic horror films.
the book was beautifully written and had me guessing until the very end. mirandas characters were well written, flawed and beautiful people.
the narrators did a wonderful job or creating a great experience to listen to this story on the go.

Thriller with now and then timelines. Slasher vibes without the violence, just suspenseful writing and plot. Very fun!

I stayed curious but it really was a copout at the end to change the entire story because she blocked it out.
