I loved everything about this book and can't wait for the next one! I want this turned into a TV show.

Refreshing

How to survive camping was such a fun read and so refreshing, kept me interested the entire time. Loved how graphic it was without being too graphic and the funny moments really made me lol along with all the details you got to make the story come to life. The narrator did an amazing job.

Great Story

Loved the story, a nice mix of action and paranormal. Reminds me of those rules creepypastas but in book form.

This is a camp ground I wish I could visit but I’m also glad I can’t! Can’t wait for more!

Great medium for me and my husband

My husband and I don't normally agree on books (he's into sci-fi and I like murderers.) He played me an episode of the no sleep podcast that had this in it, and it really intrigued me. I found it on audible and we devoured it in 3 days. Absolutely looking forward to the next two books!

There is humor, gore and interesting characters. I had a few that was dumb moments but otherwise I enjoyed the book (I'm pretty critical, as I listen to a lot)

The narration did not disappoint. Although I would love to see a duel narration version. Everyone is from the perspective of Kate the park manager and voiced by the same narrator.

I genuinely felt like this was a breath of fresh air. New concept, humor, good main lead and interesting side characters. I wouldn't say it was scary but we listened to it in the dark before bed and we did jump a few times that my notification sounds went off. Definitely made a good laugh at each other moment!

I would not use a credit on this personally, I got it for $13 and I find my credits much more valuable. But the value of the book and the time listening with my spouse has no material value. So I would say regardless this book is WORTH IT. Even if not a spouse, a teen child or good friend this would make a fun little book club! Individually anyone who enjoys a little dark humor and murder/killings would get a kick out of this book.

Ready for More

Love everything Jeremy narrates and especially love being able to find talented new (to me) authors through her. This story is a journey, peeled back in layers until you realize that the MC is not, and never has been, as alone as they think they are. There are horrors, but there is also humor and tenderness and resilience and growth.

No matter how much you believe you know what's coming next, or how right you may be in specific moments, you will never fully anticipate everything, as Quinn world builds continuously until the very end, making you immediately desperate for more.

Thank goodness there are three more books in this series!

what a lovely surprise twist at the end. loved the world building and character development.

Imaginative and unique.

I would give this book all the stars in the world. First heard the collection of stories on the No Sleep Podcast and was hooked. This is a modern day Grimm’s Fairytales with a strong female protagonist. Love this book!!!!!

Beautifully woven

This is one of those stories that take place in a world that is adjacent to ours, but in which some rules are different. The actions of the characters are shocking at first, but serve as a good introduction and guide, bringing the reader into the fold.
10/10 and I'll be waiting eagerly for the sequel. And maybe in the meantime, I'll go camping!
