In Slope of Love....

Olympic gold medalist skiers Jayla Stone and Rush Remington have been best friends for years. They've seen each other at their best and worst and have kept each other's secrets without fail. Only there's one secret Rush has kept close to his chest. After months of introspection, Rush realizes he's been filling his bed but not tending to his heart. He's changed his womanizing ways, and the only woman who can fill his heart has been right by his side all this time.

Years of intimate conversations and the sharing of hopes and dreams collide when Rush reveals his secret, and one toe-curling kiss changes everything between Rush and Jayla. They're no match for the passion that kiss ignites, or the pull of true love. But being Rush's best friend means knowing all about his revolving bedroom door - and Jayla has a secret of her own that could jeopardize her career and her relationship with Rush. Even their love may not be enough to overcome Rush's past or secure Jayla's future.

A Wonderful Friends to Lovers Romance

Melissa Foster and B.J. Harrison has done it again. I give it 5 stars for everything. I love a good friends to lovers romance, and Melissa Foster has done a beautiful job with Rush and Jayla. She made it so real, that you could feel Jayla's pain, both physically and emotionally, as a result of her shoulder injury, and being an olympic skier. Then, there is Rush, a real ladies man, that has found that he has fallen in love with his best friend. This is not an easy path, but I love both of them, and their story. All of Melissa's words then come to life through B.J. Harrison. His voice is one that I could listen to all day. It just pulls you into the story. It does not matter if it is a female or male character when B.J. Harrison is the narrator. I give them both 5+ stars.

Rush and Jayla- down the ski slope of love

Another great book by Melissa Foster. The narration by B.J. Harrison, who has a great voice, was pleasant to listen to. It’s nice to hear it from a male perspective even though he was reading Melissa’s words. He brought the book to life in his own way.

Rush Remington and Jayla Stone are both Olympic Skiers and have been friends since their early teenage years. It was nice seeing this friendship move along to something more. It was as if they were both sowing their oats and finally realized that they loved each other in the “more then friends category” As with all Melissa’s books, there were twist and turns at unexpected times Thank goodness for my HEA!!!

This book brings the Fire and Ice

I loved this friends to lovers story. Rush and Jayla have been best friends since she was 13. They are both Olympic skiers who are helping at a ski clinic for kids while training for their last race of the season. Rush sees it as a week to have Jayla to himself so they can just hang out but Jayla brings her boyfriend Marcus and feels the opportunity is dead.

Jayla is dealing with shoulder issues but is determined to compete in the final race of the season. She is trying to concentrate on her shoulder and the race. She finally decides it is time to cut Marcus loose which makes Rush very happy. As they spend time together their feelings for one another surface and they finally tell each other how they really feel about one another.

This book gave me the feels. I loved getting to re visit with characters from other LIB books. The narrator was so good that he made the story flow nicely and quickly. I hated getting out of my car because I wanted to keep listening.

Adored Slope of Love by Melissa Foster!

I always want to start by saying that I always enjoy Melissa Foster books, and even better when BJ Harrison narrates the story.

I have been a big fan of friends to lovers stories, because there are definitely quite a few different ways that the author can take the story. Rush and Jayla have been friends for a long time, and life as a playboy has worked quite well for Rush. Until he realizes that it's time to change his ways.

The book was really enjoyable, and I always love when old characters make appearances in other books.

Both characters have some big secrets that they are trying to reveal to one another. Will they be able to survive these changes together and find their HEA? You have to listen to find out!

Can See Listening To This More Than Once

I loved that the author took the time to include a "Note To Readers" that set up the reader/listener for this book.

I'm not going to gush about Mr. Harrison but he is perfect as the narrator for Ms. Foster's books. The way he talks to us, just has me sitting back and relaxing while I listen to what he has to say. If I'm out working in the yard he helps in getting me to forget how hot it is and how I wish it was winter so that I could sit with a cup of hot chocolate as I listen to this story.

In this latest story our main characters are two competitive skiers. They also happen to be friends. Jayla had me frustrated. There were times where I wanted to yell at her. There were times where I'd let out a snarky laugh. It was interesting to watch Rush come to realize certain things. It was a pleasure to watch them to go from the love of friendship to the love between a man and a woman. They made me anticipating when the next Winter Olympics comes around but I don't know that I can wait until 2022. Maybe I'll have to see if I can find anything that shows the events from February. Otherwise my other choice would be to visit Vail Colorado but I'm no snow bunny. And somehow I can't picture myself sitting outside in a pile of snow listening to Slope Of Love.

This book helps me forget that and let the characters take me to a winter wonderland instead. This is a book that I wouldn't mind having both the book copy and the audio copy. I've heard Mr. Harrison enough that as I read I would probably hear him talking to me in my head. I find myself smiling from beginning to end, maybe let out a laugh or two, and forgetting any bad things that may have happened during the day. It also gets me to relax and just enjoy a romantic story. I can't wait to have more from this series, from this narrator and more importantly from Ms. Foster.

I voluntarily reviewed an Audiobook copy of this book.

Friends to lovers

Rush and Jayla are Olympic skiers and have been best friends for years. Rush has been known as a playboy, but after a comment from his brother Rush realizes he's in love with his best friend.

Jayla has been in love with Rush for years and has never said anything to him. She has finally decided it's time to move on and get over her feelings for him.

I absolutley loved Rush and Jayla together and enjoyed seeing their friendship grow into something more.

I enjoyed Slope of Love, by reading it and by listening to it. B.J. Harrison has a voice that is easy to listen to and makes the story come to life.

A fabulous read

I love stories about friends who after time, realise that they are so much more. This is the case of Rush and Jayla.

Rush and Jayla met as teens and grew up together on the competitive skiing circuit, becoming best friends. Now as adults, the each realise that perhaps they are so much more. Each of them must overcome obstacles to make peace with this, before they can give in to their emotions.

This story follows so well and you find yourself wanting them to just hurry and realise that they belong together. This is one if my favourite Melissa Foster stories.

Yet another fabulous tale :)

Love on the slopes

Jayla and Rush have been best friends forever. That all changes on the ski slopes of Colorado. Unbeknown to each other they realise that they have feelings for each other. After breaking up with her boyfriend, Rush makes his move. Jayla is not sure that he is for real.but he wins her round. Another great listening book, love the narration from BJ Harrison.
