Publisher's Summary

Have you ever wondered if the man or woman you're sleeping with really has your best interest at heart?

Natalie thought Damian hung the moon, stars, and everything above. He was her everything, her provider, her protector, her lover, her husband. Damian hid his true intentions very well. What Natalie thought was innocent competitiveness was nothing more than pure hatred.

What happens when his truths are revealed? How much pain and heartache will Natalie endure before she finds out she's been sleeping with the Devil?

good start

I listened to this book on audio. The characters and plot were a little underdeveloped. I was looking for some excitement or drama, The potential is there and I'm hoping that book two delivers it. The pain that is promised by Damien's actions will make a lasting impact on Natalie's life. I am hoping the redundancy is lessened in the next installment.

Terrible

Every narrator should be forced to study Andi Arndt or Muffy Newton. Pretty bad writing also. This was just all around bad.

Let me expound. I couldn't tell if this was an urban story, street story, trailer park story or country western. The thug husband sounded like he worked on wallstreet. The narrator was confusing. The narrating sounded like a parody. It didn't flow well and the inflections were off.

The story had potential but was rushed and lacked a bit. There is, also, no reason that we should hear the character name every other sentence. We have pronouns for reason.

Overall, the story had potential but it was pretty bad.

If it ain't one thing it's another

Damian truly is the devil and I hope he gets exactly what's coming to him. Poor Natalie has suffered one betrayal after another and to think at this point she doesn't even know about all of it. I hope she gets her happily ever after, but unfortunately I think she'll suffer a little more before that happens. The narrator did an awesome job with the voice changes for each character but I felt that the transition from one sentence to another could have been a bit smoother in some areas. I'm starting pt. 2 immediately because I gotta see where this story goes.

Great story

I really enjoyed the story. It started in a way I couldn’t believe how the story was unfolding. Damian I hate Damian.
I am zooming right into book 2 because I want to see how everything comes to light and what happens.

Not a review on the book but this narrator was fine until she was reading the male characters parts. The way she irritated me with this nasally tone was horrible. Good thing it was a good book and story.
