whiny MC is whiny

First off the narrator did a great job. Secondly the MC is poorly written. Supposed to be a super intelligent adult, he comes across as a petulant horny teen who has the brain cell count of a rock. Further the supposedly advanced spacefaring civilization in this book makes little sense. If you like whining teens who has to comment about how hot the girls around him are (and who all want to sleep with him in spite of 0 redeeming qualities) this is the book for you.

Okay book That had the potential to be really good

The story its self wasn't bad. It could have explained some things a little better. Overall its wasn't bad though.

The problem with the audiobook is the narrator. The dialog is very broken, It doesn't flow at all. He pauses constantly in places where there shouldn't be any. it makes it very hard to listen to. You can also hear him swallow a lot clearing his mouth/throat a lot? Its very distracting. But the pausing is very frustrating. He does a good job with different accents except the women accents. Most sound the same. IF he didnt pause in odd places all the time and narrated as someone would actually talk then he would be a excellent narrator!
I wish the author took note from Eric Vall and used the same narrators he does. This would have been a perfect book for a male and a female narrator duo.
I hope in the next book there is a different narrator. Either that or the current narrator works on his craft some more before recording another book.

Narrator needs some work

Narrator needs to work on his flow. He randomly ..............pauses. It is distracting and ruins the story.

Great listen!

Just finished this last night and I couldn’t have been happier. The storylines and characters all made it worth it! The narration was perfect. Each character sounded like they had their own identity and I loved the alien voices! Keep up the great sound and stories!

Sounded like a Sci-fi movie, great!!

Overall I enjoyed this audiobook experience very much. The narrator did an amazing job with the different voices for aliens and humans. The suspenseful scenes really sounded like something from a sci-if movie!

I highly recommend it! I listened to the book on an overseas flight.
