What would you do if your husband suddenly wanted to rewrite the rules of your relationship?

High-school sweethearts Julia and Michael have left their humble West Virginia roots far behind for a glamorous life in Washington, D.C. As they achieve more in their careers - she as a high-end events planner, he as the CEO of his own sports-drink company - they lose themselves as a couple.

Excellent!!

Any additional comments?

At first I thought the wife in this story was being selfish and materialistic. I almost stopped there but gave it a chance and I am very happy I did. You learn their story and realize it isn't all what it seems. What a fantastic story this is, definitely give it a chance, you won't regret it!

Wonderful Novel!

This author continues to do a great job. Brings every character to life. This is my second book on audible with her and she continues to be such a pleasure writer in every aspect. Trust me you won’t hit pause, you’ll want to hear it until you’re done with it.

Meh

I chose this book because I enjoyed another by the author. I did not like this book. It wasn’t that the story was bad, I just found it to not be my taste. I kept listening, hoping for a plot twist. There never was one. It was just a story of a couple who valued money over anything else.

Amazing

This book is an affirmation of life in a very subtle way. Can’t believe I’m writing this about chick lit but if the shoe fits...
