Yes. The shadows will always be with us but the rain bow too
Wow. What a great book. I’ve read very little about Nazi occupation in Eastern Europe or Ukraine or soviet Russia. The nazis really hated the people and now I see why there was such Terrible retaliation from red army to German people. I loved all the characters and the authors development of them was excellent. I want to read more from the novelist She showed the goodness of people in times of extreme poverty. Having nothing but helping when the could
