Love Sisterchicks

I'm doing a broad stroke review, because really, this particular book is part of a whole. The characters change from book to book, but the message is the same: God lovingly orders the footsteps of his followers and is intimately involved in the details of our lives, even if we can't see it. or feel it.
The characters are well thought out and believable. The stories are full of encouragement, humor and sensitivity.
This series is perfection.

Any additional comments?
It is a fun touching story of friendship and adventure. It uses a good story line rather than sex, violence or shock factor to hold your attention. I would recommend this book to a friend. The reading is well done and makes you feel like you are a part of the story.A fun read

What did you like best about Sisterchicks on the Loose!? What did you like least?
In August 1982, when fictional Penny first proposed she and Sharon go to Finland, I was actually on my way there to spend a year as an exchange student. As such, I know the country and people well (I lived 30 minutes from Porvoo where Penny's aunt lives). What drove me crazy was the weird accent the narrator was doing. It wasn't remotely like a Finnish accent. The intonation and stresses were all completely wrong, as were the pronunciations of several key Finnish words (like sauna!). It was something like a bastardized Swedish-Norwegian- very aggravating.Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Robin Jones Gunn?
Someone Finnish!Any additional comments?
The story was charming and the characters were familiar to me: those poor, sweet women with their small worlds that spin around church and their children. The message to do something to grow yourself away from the kids is so important. Step out of your comfort zone. Learn a new language. Meet people with a different perspective on the world.Reader needed a Finnish accent lesson
