Loved this series!

I really enjoyed this series! This series established the characters in 1st book and grew them in the following 2 books! I hope more will be written soon!

Wonderful spin-off to Locke and Key

I've really enjoyed this spin off to the original couple. Each had a different (but different) road to travel to their HEA. My only issue is when a couple has 10+ yrs of separation and come back together with "I never stopped loving you". You loved the person they were at the time. The person they are now is almost a stranger. And if you were with anyonein-between, wouldn't that feel like cheating? idk. Anyway, my only issue with the narration is several instances of mispronounced or strange pronunciation of words. It takes me out of the story and I'm yelling at my phone "sem-i"!! (lpronounced sem-eye, not sem-eee) It's a truck not a D on the rise lol!! Otherwise, I love this narrator as always.

Hilarious and yet a great plot twist!

This is a modern mystery romance, the second trilogy in 3 trilogies by the same author. Read/listen to “Zero Hour” trilogy first before“Sinister in Savannah” and I’m now on “matrimony and Mayhem” which I think is the best order to read/listen to them! Three unique podcasters with different experiences come together to investigate the sinister side of Savannah. Each find love along the way but not before they first get caught up in great investigations! I went back and forth between listening on audible and reading the ebook but I thought the narration was fabulous with a great voice for each of the characters!

Throughly enjoyed this series.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this series. I was thinking it would be more a long the line of a pod cast set up. To my delight it was the next series for the three men who were very present in Sawyer and Royce story. Loved getting to know each of them better. Looking forward to getting to k is more of the side characters in the other books out there.

Excellent mysteries with the romance.

I really enjoyed the ongoing mystery solving by the main characters throughout the books. The narrator has a nice voice and southern voiced characters but he missed much of the nuance and emphasized the wrong words in phrases to feel realistic. He had great depth for certain characters but lacked voices to fit the characters.

Great story line

this was a overall great read. great story line. look forward to reading more of these.

Great Series

I loved the storyline however the narrator was absolutely horrible. I made myself sit through the first several chapters but I almost quit several times due to the narration.

Great variety

I'm so glad the author gave our trio their own stories. While the stories and characters are connected in the author's milieu, each one is distinct and written in its own voice. Tha narrator does a wonderful job of making the characters' POV clear.

Moving

I really like the box set. Great way way to read a series in order. And, save a couple of bucks at the same time.

I like the first book….

The first story was pretty good, and kept my attention. I felt like we missed a little build up to the relationship. When we meet them, they’ve been working together for many months and just want to f*** each other. We miss the part where they get to know each other and make a connection. So we get mystery solving and sex in these books, not relationship or romance if that’s what you’re looking for. I felt like the stories could have been at least an hour shorter without missing anything important. The second story didn’t keep my attention very well. First, I’m not a fan of second chance romances. There’s always too much heartache usually based on misunderstandings or miscommunication, and too many trust issues to work out. I also just didn’t feel the chemistry between Jude and Felix. I thought the podcast was the reason for these books, and they didn’t even do a podcast at all in the second book. I also felt like they were trying to set up the third book and didn’t really give the second one a good ending. I got a little bored and just wanted it to be over.
The narrator’s voice was pleasant and clear, but a little too theatrical or something for me. I felt like the emotions weren’t always portrayed correctly.
Haven’t listened to the third story yet, not sure if I will. I’m currently bored with it.
UPDATE: I listened to the third story and it is better than the second one. It was still a little long and slow, but the characters connected better for me.
