Single and Fabulous

Absolutely loved this book! Even more than the first one she wrote which I didn’t think could be possible! It’s a quick read that draws you in, is relatable, hilarious and makes you want to be living it up in NYC! I highly recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor!

Funny, witty, and relatable. I found myself laughing and nodding in agreement so often. I found so many of your dating experiences relatable as I’m sure many other women did. I love how candid and transparent Andi was in her book talking about her emotions, relationships, and hookups. Your vulnerability at times in this book reassured me that I’m not alone.

Where does Single State of Mind rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love Andi Dorfman, and she can tell a story hilariously which is why I buy her books via audio. To actually hear her inflections, details, sarcasm, etc. I so hope she continues to write. Even if she goes into fiction, as long as she writes and narrates herself, I will continue to buy!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Andi!!

What does Andi Dorfman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Again, herself, her true personality.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

She always makes me laugh, I have cried (more in last book). I feel young, however I am older and she is. I wish I had her drive and more importantly her confidence in myself that she has when I was her age, even now.

Any additional comments?

She as a real opportunity to be anything and everything. Meanwhile, I hope young up and coming women watch and learn. Not so much reality tv portion, but her self worth lesson, her ability to truly look at herself and determine what she wants and go for it. Of course, she did have some opportunities that we all do not have due to some certain experiences. However she is an amazing light and I do believe she was going to shine no matter what!!

great audio book, very entertaining. I loved that Andi narrated it herself. I ended it thinking if she has a hard time it really is that bad out there....lol

Sex and the city for the new generation. My dream is to live in NYC and she gave me the next best thing. Cannot wait for her third book.
