The heroine: Teddy (a.k.a. Cover Girl) - an ex-model, she now owns her own event planning company. Teddy grew up as a foster kid and her modeling career was ruined when she was hit by a car, which crushed one of her legs. She now has a limp and a 21 inch scar on her leg.

The Hero: Tate (a.k.a. Golden Boy) - he joined the Reckless Bastards MC after he got out of the Army and ended up being framed by the cops for a crime he didn’t commit. He spent six years in prison before being exonerated. He was recently released and is now trying to get his life back.

The Story: Golden boy is Max’s brother from Beautifully Broken and Max’s woman Jana is best friends with Teddy. Tate and Teddy met through Max and Jana and were immediately attracted to each other and it wasn’t long before they hooked up with each other. Both were consenting adults and neither of them were looking for more than pleasure.

Though a stalker is leaving macabre ‘gifts’ and outright threats at Teddy’s house, so Tate takes it upon himself to protect Teddy. He insists she stay with him until the police catch whomever is stalking her. Though they are living in the same house and sleeping together, neither thinks of it as more than that, but both are enjoying their time together immensely.

The story in this one was good, though it was a bit too easy to figure out the culprit. I did like both characters and Tate’s struggles after getting out of prison were interesting as was Teddy’s life. I liked that she was tough and strong.

This was told in dual points of view via dual narration by Lynn Barrington and Noel Harrison. These weren’t two of my favorites. Their voices didn’t quite fit the characters. I thought Noel’s voice was a bit too old sounding and gravelly. Not really the sexy kind of gravelly, more like the two pack a day kind.

Predictable story but HOT scenes

The story line is predictable and a total eye roll but the scenes are hot AF so it made it kinda bearable.

A captivating, sinfully seductive, and entertaining journey to go on with Tate and Teddy. I enjoyed every single delicious moment of it.
Lynn Barrington and Noel Harrison are fantastic narrators.

Better

The last book was pretty good, but this book was way better. I cannot wait to listen to the next book.

Captivating! 💙💙 Tate and Teddy have such an amazing chemistry that is definitely explosive! There is suspenseful situations, unexpected surprises, sexual tension with plenty of twists and turns. You will definitely enjoy listening to this audio book.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.

Amazing book

I would recommend this book for anyone looking for exciting and loving book, both narrators where amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat.. Looking forward to listening to the next book.

Golden Boy and Cover Girl

This was more than I expected when I dove in. I love Teddy and her spunk. Tate was a very likable Hero as well. Two characters with bad luck in their lives. I loved their story and the suspense of the stalker kept you close to your earbuds. The narrators did a great job and I will definitely continue with the series.

good series

It's a tamed down MC series. More to do w the couples than the MC life, but all the elements are still there. I'd say its red🔥hot where it counts and the characters are great!

Amazing!

Loved it, from the gorgeous cover, the action and plot twists, the psycho bad guy, the deliciously damaged MCs and their smokin' hot smexiness, the heartwarming cast of chosen brothers and sister, to the perfect HEA. This story and the performance held me captive from beginning to end.
