A Murderous Past

Kind and quietly helpful, Phoenix goes about his days assisting Gian at the church in between rebuilding his life. But Gian’s family catches up with him—the mob never lets a man go. As Phoenix delves into his repressed memories he needs more help than ever, but is Gian up to the task of keeping Phoenix safe? And what if the person Phoenix needs to be saved from is Gian?

Phoenix starts out in a bad relationship that leaves him in mental tatters, but he gets the support and love he needs from Gian. Against all odds, they have a happily ever after!

Amazing narrator! His Phoenix made me want to sob and hug him, he knows how to express feelings with his voice! Great story to start a new family of characters in a new town.

Exceptional!!

My heart ached for the abuses Phoenix suffered, but it was a godsend that Perry kicked him out after 7 years.It gave him a second chance he desperately needed. By the end of the story he showed massive growth that I was happy about.
I liked that Gian was a flawed imperfect man with a good heart. It humanized him and made him more relatable, and I liked him. This was a complete emotional journey. The ending was a game changer, and I loved it all!!! I still feel the aftershocks of listening to this. Wow!!! I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a spectacular job bringing the characters and story to life.

One of the Best Books I've Ever Listened to

I loved absolutely everything about this book! Depth of characters, relationship development, the kinky aspects, and just the way the story flows are perfect. New to me narrator does a perfect job of telling the story with emotion and distinct differences between characters. Very highly recommend!

My sweet baby phoenix

The temptation in this audio is so good. I love the characters, and I'm super happy with the ending. Phoenix went through so much, and I'm happy with perry's comeuppance. The spicy level is about a 4/5. The narrator did an amazing job with both main and side character. You will definitely meet some of the bosses from others books but you don't need to read them first.

Intriguing

This was a wonderful read. I loved the storyline it was interesting and original. Father Gian was a very interesting character and I loved Phoenix. The characters are very good together and the ending was good. The narration was really good too.
