Along with her cat, the county’s sheriff, and others, the search for the missing person becomes a tough one, and a dark, older witch, becomes an obscure threat to her integrity. Follow the story of Cordelia as she struggles with ethics, psychos, and kidnappings in a remote village in the woods.

I wouldn't say these short stories are steamy hot in a sexual sense, but the romantic scenes are definitely filled with some flirting, sexual tension, and suggestive, humorous comments. As the author tried to keep it all clean to target a specific audience, you'll find that even the most trivial circumstances can create the most interesting and fun love stories. Fighting, miscommunication, awkwardness, and status add to the mixture, as the characters mingle and sometimes remain single.

Funny and witty
I was impressed by the story. It has light moments of humor (a lot) and a few thrills. The crazy lady that is the sherriff's wife is definitely worth checking out in this mystery.

Fun and fascinating
This is a fun way to experience a cozy mystery about someone who went to the woods and is obviously a little vulnerable and in my opinion, a little gullible. But her magic protects her. That's probably why.
