Not my typical genre but I loved it!

I absolutely LOVED this book. It kept me guessing the whole way and proved me wrong over and over. Aubrey is such a fantastic character that I couldn’t help but connect with. Such a great book.

I’d recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fast-paced, engaging, psychological adventure. I really enjoyed it and it was a nice break between epic fantasies for me. I loved the in-depth look at mental health and coping with a serious disease. It was great to get into the minds of the characters.

The performance was really good overall and gave the characters even more life. The voicing of Aubrey in particular was great. I feel like her sarcasm and wit comes across perfectly.

Wish I could read it for the first time all over again.

Wonderful suspense that kept me listening into the wee hours of the night. Just when I thought I had it figured out, it would make a crazy turn that I never saw coming!

Ummmmmmm

That was like eating a bad cake. You know its not worth it, but you just keep eating it. Original but clumsy. Ambitious but disjointed. The narrator made me want to stab myself in the eye with a fork, but ...cake.

Worth the listen!

Listening to the beginning of the story I felt it had a plot line I had only known one time before. I do not want to say what it was to spoil any part of this story. However later in the story it has a surprising twist. The only thing I would warn is dying of Cancer is thread throughout the whole story…that may be a difficult and sensitive subject for some…otherwise…Worth the listen!

Love love love

Narration is amazing.
Storyline kept me guessing the whole time which is rare. I usually get bored and figure out the plot and give up. This book, however, was shocking and twisty and took me places and then new ones. I highly recommend.
I’ve been getting done 4.6 and up books and been unhappy so maybe I’m quirky. But this book is different and that’s good with all the knockoff books out there.
Original is good and rare.

Great book, great narrator

Not predictable and not boring! It is a mystery, but not the suspense kind. Good story, characters are well developed. I listened in 2 days bc I couldn’t stop.

Torturous

I couldn't finish this. These characters are all crazy...or just plain evil. I don't care at this point. I don't care who has cancer and who doesn't. I just need it to end. The narrator annoys me, too...like she's trying to be Julia Whelan. She is not.

what did i just listen to?

So strangely written. I couldn't tell if the person was talking or thinking half the things that were said. What the characters say and do hardly made any sense. I'm surprised I stuck this one out till the end.

Poorly written story and mediocre performance

Rife with tired cliches and incomplete phrasing, this book was very poorly written. And the narrator voiced each character in the same way.

I wish I had not wasted a credit on this. I thought it would get better, but it only got worse
