Good story

Well thought out, slightly mysterious, and well written story with timeline shift back and forward. I was constantly guessing and changing my mind on what was coming up next but not guessing correctly. Narrated well, I like most stories read by Brittany Presley.

Breath taking

Absolutely powerful and suspenseful…I wanted a way different ending but truly the ending was right..

Great narrator, which makes it breaks any audiobook.

As far as the story goes, there was A LOT of pieces that needed to fit together to make this a satisfying conclusion. The author did an excellent job weaving it all together and backtracked just often enough that I didn’t lose track of all the pieces.

Great story

What would you do if your daughter went missing? Jessica faced that horrifying situation when her 17 year-old daughter disappears one day. There are many clues as to why she would take off, and as the story unfolds you see more and more evidence to suggest the reasons. And then one day, a year later Jessica gets a text- “Mom, are you there?” WTH? So, the creepy factor begins. It’s really an interesting story that takes you down one path and then another, until the sad truth is finally unveiled.
And why must everyone who has trauma and tragedy in their lives drink so darn much? I mean, so much you just want to shake them?

So much better than I expected!

I started this book thinking it would be interesting but Oh My Goodness! I couldn’t put it down, I was either listening or reading it on my Kindle because I wanted to know what happened next. I didn’t expect the twists and deceit, I didn’t expect the multiple layers to the story. It was so well written. I highly recommend this book.

Awesome, easy read!

This book at a lot of turns in twists, several places where I thought I knew what was gonna happen, I was wrong. And that’s always a treat. Definitely an easy listen and definitely keeps you awake on a long road trip. Well done!
