Publisher's Summary

There are some nightmares you never outgrow....

A boy with strange powers purchases an antique toy and finds himself pulled into an old family grudge. The carved wood frame of an old bassinet cages a mischievous, evil entity. And the ghost of a young girl reveals a sinister experiment in a crumbling old house....

Scare Street is proud to present the best in bone-chilling supernatural horror. This volume contains three ghastly tales of ghosts, ghouls, and monsters. Each moment takes you back to the nightmares of your childhood.

Can you remember the terror you felt when your parents turned out the light and ordered you to your room? They never believed you when you told them there was a monster under the bed. "It’s just your imagination," they said.

But as you begin to listen to another tale, you hear a claw tear through your sheet at the foot of your bed. A shiver runs down your spine. The monster has come back for you. And it feels very real indeed....

Good to see old friends.

This book is awesome! We get to see an old friend and another one was mentioned in the first story, and in the third, another old friend from another short story, as well as another one from another series. those are the only spoilers you’re going to get, which really aren’t spoilers. you’ll have to read to see who you find. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I certainly wasn’t!

Horror With A Twist

Ohhh, Its hard to think these short story volumes can get better, but oh man, do they ever! Volume 25 has three more stories that are beyond amazing, and you cannot afford to miss these!

From a haunted bassinet, one brother killing another brother, and the ghostly girl that stands in the window of an abandoned house - these stories will keep you riveted throughout!

I loved each of these! They were great!

3 Great Ones

Get it! I absolutely love this short story series with good narration only complaint is too short, always want more and hate when they end. All 3 were good and due to authors’ vivid insane imaginations involving ghosts evil and good. No favorites as loved all 3. Rickey’s Toys, brother gets even; The Bassinette, take care with the antiques you get and The Girl in the Window, Jimmy is another Dan Tate. Highly recommend if you want quick horror shorts, keep them coming.

Congratulations scare Street on your 25th edition!

From the creepy boy who buys even weirder toys to the baby I would never want to babysit and trust me Norwood you to the little girl ghost who’s not at all like Casper. This book is so good it’s their 25th edition and they’re still going strong I love short horror stories and every time I read a new one I think that one is my favorite. My favorite story in this collection is the dead creepy baby in the bassinet… Oh that totally creeped me out. You have to read it to know the whole story, but all MG so creepy. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves real horror you don’t want to pass this up. I loved it.
