Such and intricate

This was such an interesting story! The character development was intricate that all you could do was continue listening!

Amazing performance

What more can I ask for: Soundbooth Theater reading Pippa Dacosta books :) The characters are interesting & the story keeps me guessing as to what’s next. I’m curious as to who Talen really is!

I don’t know why but it’s like the book just changes half way through

Don’t get me wrong the book isn’t bad it’s just about half way through it’s like someone else started writing where it left off and all the things that makes Mc kick ass just isn’t there anymore. It’s not a bad book just dont like how mc turns out

Wonderful performances for a great sci-fi series

I personally did not have any audio problems like the other reviewer. Definitely worth the credit!

Not sure why this was a reverse harem

I read books 1-5. The story was exciting and action packed and I liked the pace of the book. I like the FMC she was strong and resilient. My biggest complaint is why the author decided to make this a reverse harem. It wasnt really, there were like two spicy scenes out of all 5 books and they werent well written and dialogue was cheesy. All spice scenes were with one partner even though FM had several love interests. It totally fell short for me, and honestly although I loved the story it was the whole reason I started the series was to read a good spicy why choose. Clearly the author had issues with description and writing sex scenes so not sure why they decided on this choice, they just should have had this be a fun sci fi non fiction book.

Fantastic story | Poor recording quality

Luckily I’m familiar with this series, originally read the kindle version & this was intended as reread. This is a fantastic story & one of my favorite sci-fi series. The narrator’s character voice were excellent.

The big con: Poor audible quality. The recording skips & repeats at random. I’m unable to return it.

I’d recommend the series with out reservations. I’d suggest the kindle versions but would caution against wasting a credit on this audible version. Hopefully the quality will be improved soon bc it’s a shame.

Better than expected

I can't exactly say I liked this book but the idea was interesting with an interesting main character. Honestly my expectations were pretty low. Books in the general sci-fi/fantasy/paranormal romance categories are usually technically and creatively mediocre at best and downright insulting to all human kind at worst. This book was above average and I was truly surprised by the ending which was refreshing. I tend to prefer low drama, fun, action packed stories and this leaned more towards personal drama and political intrigue so I'll probably never listen to it again but it was still pretty good. This author has restored a tiny bit of my badly damaged faith in the publishing industry. All my best wishes to her.

Not worth a credit or paying for.

Just wait until it’s free again if you’re interested. It’s not that good. It will pass time but I wouldn’t even rank it in the best 10k books I’ve ever read

Sexual Tension wrapped in poorly written story

Highly competent lead character with mysterious history of secret agent super soldier training repeatedly proves her sexual thirst easily overrides any intelligence or ability that is not specifically accomplished to increase or continue sexual tension.

19 Chapters in & the MC is somehow less competent despite now knowing her "super soldier" background and somehow has the ego to assume she is the only one who can succeed after nothing but successive failures while those she's absolutely certain will die if they help her despite a proven history of accomplishing what she's attempting without any help at all.

C Grade action movie in literary form

1st sorry for the bad review. Usually I'd rather not leave a review before writing a bad one. My tastes don't reflect everyone's so if I don't like it, that doesn't mean it's bad; it just means I don't like it. But...

This book is bad. No one will convince me otherwise.

The characters from the movie Terminator had more engaging dialog than those in this book.
Scooby Doo and the Gang had more intricate plot sequences.
Count from Sesame Street has a deeper magic system. And
A stick figure drawing stuck to the paper on your shoe has more nuance and depth than the main character.

Please. Buy this book as a study of how not to tell a story.

The story's concept was great. It's execution on the other hand...
