Good Book

Loved this book as an ebook and this audio book is even better. Loved the narrator and how they gave each character personality and life. The audio book was easy to listen to an was fun even to hear. The book had good world building and the characters are great. So funny at times and lots of actions too. I received this audio book with a promo code and this is my honest review.

Another well written & enjoyable read/listen

Shift Happens: An Action Packed Urban Fantasy Adventure (The Legend of Nyx Book 5), my twenty-third read from author Theophilus Monroe. Well written & enjoyable read. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Kasey Logan & George Tait's narration adds to the enjoyment of the book. I look forward to my next read from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Another great story by this author

I've really been enjoying this series. Shift Happens has Nyx struggling with her own kind. The challenges mount with plenty of tension and action. She has been charged with saving the Neck, a task which seems impossible as they set themselves against all she holds dear. A great story.

Inviting Fantasy

The fifth book in the series was filled with a lot of conflict. Some elementals have decided that Nikki needed to return to her original form. Nikki is content in her human form, but her friends are being killed by the elementals as a way to force her back to the waters. Nikki has to make decisions regarding her life. I thought the story was interesting and amusing. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Kasey Logan's and George Tait's dual narrations were entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Excellent

Very well written and narrated story by a favorite author of mine. His character and world development are top notch. Great series that I highly recommend!

Great continuation

This is a great continuation of the Legend of Nyx series. It's number five in the series and picks up after Nikki/Nyx and her friends aborted the zombie apocalypse. The Neck Nikki drew out to help defeat the zombies are focused on her, now, and want her to return to her former self and return to the water. But, Nikki likes where she is. Will she be able to resist the call, and can she protect her friends? I love Nikki's devotion and loyalty to her friends and family, a circle that grows in this book. There is plenty of action and adventure, challenges and surprises, as the story progresses. Fair warning, the story does not culminate here, and some of the Neck become even more dangerous. I can't wait for the next book to see if Nikki finally defeats the Neck to live HEA with Devin and her family. Along with the seriousness, there is also plenty of humor and snark...and sprites (so many sprites)...it's more than just Bruce now. Hide the liquor!🤣

The narration is great and really adds liveliness and passion to the characters.

The best book in the series thus far!

Another good book in the Legend of Nyx series by Theophilus Monroe. This book seemed more unique to me and I enjoyed it the most so far out of the series. The characters all continue to be fleshed out, some interesting and unique plot twists, and an action packed book. Audio Version: Kasey Logan continues doing a good job with the MC, supporting characters, and overall narration. This is the first time I have listened to George Tait and he did a good job with his characters as well.
