Publisher's Summary

Angel stumbles into church one day and ends up a First Lady when she catches the preacher's eye, heart and soul. She is unchurched, timid, shy; just a babe in Christ trying to figure out what this God thing is all about, and at the same time how to be a pastor's wife. She's on the right path, until a church mother puts up a road block. All Angel wants to do is try to get into heaven. But first she'll have to go through the pit of hell Mother Calloway puts her through with her un-Christ-like antics.

Pretty Good Read

This book was a pretty good read. It piqued my interest from the beginning. Angel was a newly wed and a new first lady. One of the church mothers, Mother Callaway, made it her mission to make Angel miserable. This made Angel seek the help of a speaker from a conference she attended and fellow first lady Erykah. The book was very engaging however it seem as if it started to drag on during the trip to California. It was then that I just wanted the book to end, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

Too Much Fluff

The story was good, but I could’ve done without the fluff and fillers. I found my self thinking, “just get on with it” more times than I care to admit.

Good BUT too much talking without saying anything.

I enjoyed this book for the most part. I liked the story & the narrator. The only problem I had with the book is a lot of unnecessary chatter about nothing. There many things said that were irrelevant or just plain distractions that made me keep thinking to myself "who cares, just get to the point". Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Dissapointing and Terrible

What would have made She's No Angel better?

The characters in this book drove me insane! Their actions and antics were so unrealistic and just downright dumb. I was completely disappointed in this book and I really wish I could get my credit back!!! I did not finish the last chapter and have absolutely no desire to do so!!

Has She's No Angel turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, just the Authors maybe!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from She's No Angel?

Too many to indicate!
