New twist with this romance

This dual POV story takes us on a journey through checkered pasts, finding true love, losing it, and fighting to get it back. Great story with a couple twists and turns and plenty of steam along the way.

Messy Amnesia Romance

The plot of Shattered Secrets is very good. Hudson and Hadleigh are soulmates. Hudson is a defense lawyer with a past and connections to the mob. Hadleigh had an abusive ex-husband, which is how Hudson and Hadleigh met. Four years ago, Hadleigh’s world came crashing down when Hudson disappeared. Hadleigh was left pregnant and without answers, with people lying to her. Four years later, Hudson is found alive but without his memories, living in a small town. Hadleigh had to fight for her husband and to find out who hurt him.

The romance was gorgeous. Neither forgot about each other or moved on. Their chemistry was palpable. The plot was well done! I love the suspense plot as they tried to piece together who the villain really was. The angst and messiness made this book bingeable.

Hayden & Hadleigh

Oh my word, this book was soooo good and diabolical. I loved how the author included Iseult & Gio as supporting characters. How Hadleigh was so steadfast in her belief that he was still alive & not breaking to pressure, was everything. I felt her pain and loss, but also once the book came to part 2, after Grant found him, was soooo good. This entire series was good and the narration in this book was right up there with book 1.

No complaint. This is my first Lillian Harris book. I'm excited to listen to her other books now.
