Publisher's Summary

I will never be controlled again. A manipulative dragon shifter. A sexy phaetyn prince. Me? I shouldn’t even exist.

With peace established in Verald, I should be free; Lord Tyrrik is liberated from his blood oath, after all. But the freedom in Verald is an illusion. If I remain, destruction will surely follow.

As soon as I come into my powers, the blood-thirsty emperor of Draecon will know. Even now, he is hunting me. When a Phaetyn prince arrives promising safety, the solution seems perfect. A little too perfect. But is the objective of our group security or something more? Because everyone is telling me what my goals should be.

Should I listen with my head - or my heart? I might not get a choice. Who do you trust when everyone has lied to you?

Alright I got through this wretched book

I can deal with the cheese factor, barely. What sent me skipping chapters to an end I already knew was the horrendous girl. Aren't we supposed to like the main characters? She's petulant, whiny, selfish and defiant to the extent of being a moron. She's an 18 year old with a 2 year old's personality. The idea of the story had so much potential. Unfortunately it was wasted. I do hope this author can maybe salvage this idea in another series with guidance from someone with more maturity and imagination.

Hard to get through

I still enjoyed the story and will continue with the series but the main character is so whiney and immature it grated on every nerve to get through it for the sake of the overall story.

Good book, final book written not on audible

It would have been better if final book were on audible. Nothing like listening to a book in a series and seeing the final book written but not available on audible.

Oh my !

I was really interested in the story buy I had to stop the tape several times due to the voice that was reading the book. her voice sounded like she has a big pouty lip at all times!! I COULDN'T get excited about this book or book one due to THAT VOICE! PLEASE don't use this voice in book three .
