The trilogy was very well done and truly enjoyed the story.
The relationship between the two main characters. Well developed and passionately evolving.

After Tallu and Airon dealt with the airship situation in the last book, now they are dealing with drastically different issues in this book. This book takes them out of the palace and on a road trip to try to figure out whether or not Tallu's brother and heir is really still alive.
As usual, this story is fast paced and full of action. One thing I really enjoyed and would LOVE to have more of was the novellas in Tallu's POV that are available on Kai Butler's website. There are 3 separate stories from Tallu's POV and that was just what I needed to solidify their relationship in my mind.
Tallu is not as prevalent in this book. He is there, of course, but the storyline is very Airon centric (it IS in his POV) and it felt like Tallu was more of a supporting character. Having read the novellas right before this book helped me to keep his POV in my head while reading this.
As usual, the book was over way too soon and now I have caught up with the series.
Ugh.
Now the wait begins for Book 4.
