Publisher's summary

Temptation comes in many different forms. Jack Masterson thought he knew what temptation was, and he thought he could handle it. He was, of course, wrong in every sense of the word.

Life as a vampire is defined by constant, seductive temptation. So far, Jack has managed to get by, thanks to the help of his childhood friend, Katie, and his loyal maid, Ryoko.
But when a new enemy arises that threatens not just the town but the people closest to him, he’s left at a crossroads. Unsure of where to draw the line, or whether there even is one anymore, Jack begins to explore the hazy morality of doing bad things to bad people.

Just how far is he willing to go in the name of vengeance? And should he be concerned by the fact that he’s beginning to enjoy it?

Warning: This book contains graphic sex, a slow building harem, and increasingly disconcerting moral dilemmas.

On and On

Started off as a good book series but the disfunctional relationships between the main characters goes on and on that it becomes annoying.

Overall a decent second book

My main gripe is that the book felt shorter than the first and I didn't really feel as though the story progressed too much. Sure lots of stuff happened and there was some character development, but I just felt it was too little for a whole book.

Still, the story was good, the narrator is amazing, and am looking forward to the third book. My only hope is the next one is more substantial in length as I hate buying a book and finishing it the same day.

Pretty good 2nd entry...

The storyline isn't the best ever, but the overall performance by the narrator saves it in my opinion.

Pretty good second book

This is a pretty good second installment in the series. Story leaves you hanging at the end but the performance is very good

It's like reading a manga

A shitty one, with caricatures instead of characters, small talk instead of dialogue, and moral anxiety instead of growth.
The voice acting is a bit dry, but otherwise alright...
I'm feeling a bit cheated by being more than halfway through the second book and having to listen to this main character struggle with whether or not he's a "bad" guy...vampire...
There aren't enough sex scenes either. The sex scenes are actually pretty erotic. Impressively erotic. Though, that could just be an effect of their rarity betwixt the inanity of the rest of this shit.
I want my money back. Perhaps I'll have better luck with those erotic value packs.... Lol

book is better

same issue with the first book the main character seems like he doesn't want to research much before acting and no one in the book series seems to want to explain things except one character does explain a little but not enough really if any one with a brain would be asking fucking questions especially if you're going to have to live in the situation the main character is in you want to just go with the flow not knowing how to survive
