Publisher's Summary

Sex Material....

It's what I'm known around town for. A rock-hard body, covered in tattoos with a sizeable bulge that women spend their nights fantasizing about. Women track me down, needing someone that will take them rough without holding back. They find me because they need a distraction from reality. They need something to get their mind off of the boyfriend who screwed them over or the job promotion they got passed over on at work. Sometimes, it's just because they need someone reckless in the bedroom before settling down with the right one.

I'm not the suit wearing, flower-buying guy you take home to meet the parents. I'm not the guy who will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I was boyfriend material once. Would've even made a good husband. Until one night changed everything.

Then Cami shows up in my hometown, broken-hearted and pissed off at the world, needing an escape from her cheating ex. She's interested in one thing only from me - to move into my rental property. But the problem with that is the more we fight, the deeper she buries herself in my soul.

Sex material is what I'm good at, but for the first time, it may not be enough.

Contains mature themes.

A SEXY & COMBUSTIBLE LISTEN

Jensen is a successful cold prick of a Property Developer and Landlord.. he’s very much ‘hands on’ when it comes to developing his properties either working alongside his team or doing them on his own to drown out the bitter thoughts of his past. But he’s also got a reputation around town that he’s very ‘hands on’ with his many female tenants too who all want him to fix their ‘wet patches’. This tattooed drool-worthy alpha a$$hole is cold and blunt.. in fact he’s almost cruel to the endless faceless women who constantly throw themselves at him. He warns them of no emotions, no kisses and definitely no repeats - and this makes him, at the start, quite dislikable and you don’t know whether to slap him or shout “me next.. oh please me next”. However, the more the story unravels, the more you get to see that this damaged manwhore has layers to his personality and that he’s actually hiding and coping the best he can after the sad and tragic secret that lies behind his impenetrable mask of indifference. So, if you do get this nicely paced audiobook, please give the unlovable prick a chance.

Cami is fuming mad, she’s just been emotionally burned by her cheating boyfriend of five years, she’s now drowning her sorrows and staying with her bf and she’s going to need somewhere else to live.. well, IMO, she needs to pace herself with the wine sometimes too. When she storms into the house Jensen’s single-handedly renovating with the intentions of becoming his new tenant, Cami is suddenly struck dumb by the half naked sweaty awesomeness of her ‘potential’ new landlord.. but, when he opens his mouth and insults, rejects her tenancy and throws her out, it breaks her lusty thoughts and becomes quite a different story. Now Cami’s no walkover and speaks her mind too.. so attraction is soon replaced with barbed banter, wickedly indecent sexual proposals and snappy conversations. However, the primal lust lingers between these two enemies who will eventually heal each other and fall in love.. but battle lines will come before the white truce flag of total and utter surrender.

Worth a credit? For me, yes it was an enjoyable and entertaining dual POV enemies to lovers romance that had sexual tension, angst, layers, anguish, sizzling chemistry, combustible sex, passion, turmoil, secrets, character development and redemption when the hero eventually forgives himself thanks to the love of a strong heroine. Great dual POV narration by Aiden Snow and CJ Bloom whose performances drew me in, captured the emotional feels and truly brought these characters to life.

first time listening to this author

well, it started really well just love Aiden snows voice.... but the story line was simple and stretched right out. the worst this and my pet hate is repetition of the hero/heroines name. if I heard cami or Jensen one more time I'd scream.
so as for more listening to this author ......maybe not
