WELL TOLD TALE

A very interesting story of a lost heiress and those who want to get her out of the picture - for good.

Good story

I love Lisa Jackson. This one was a bit different for me. I felt like it was longer than usual and had more sex than usual.

Overall a good story if you can ignore the "are they related?" Question that gets answered in the last thirty minutes

There was just one thing....

SPOILER AHEAD!!!!

For the most part I enjoyed listening to the whole book. And I didn’t expect the way she wrapped things up the last 10 minutes, so the surprise of how they “are” related was nice.

BUT!

The incest thing skeeved me out. Every time they were together I kept thinking ‘I don’t care HOW HOT he is! If we shared a parent I think I’d learn to control myself!’ It was icky! I couldve done without that.

too long, too much romance

it felt like one of her earlier books, too much romance which in turn drags the whole book out. the story was good, but it took way too long to get there.
her last book was awesome. no so with this

Great...

story and characters. The plot twists were also well done. I just had an issue with the main h's voice sounding so much like a child's. Otherwise, well done.

Really?

It was distracting to have a reader who couldn’t pronounce the Oregon cities correctly. The story seemed to drag on. A simple DNA test could have solved the mystery easily.

Pleasantly surprised

I like this author but was almost put off by some negative reviews. However, I really enjoyed this book. The taboo storyline-possible incest-was awkward but did not keep me from enjoying the story, which in the end, used that subject for an unexpected twist.

LISTENABLE

This book was okay. This is my first novel by this author. It was actually quite good and held my attention and interest until about the last 2 hours or so when the whole romantic aspect turned really sappy and overdone. In fact, the overall story began to slide downhill, finally ending on a very predictable and unimpressive (and pretty sappy) note.

I understand from reading a lot of the reviews that this book is not one of her best. I have listened to a number of samples of her other novels which all sound pretty good, so I definitely plan to try other works by this author.

love Lisa Jackson always will but when you make sex scenes with potential brothers and sisters and pass it off as passion....ICK
