After spending my entire pro golfing career being known as the quiet, controlled, no-nonsense golfer, there's nothing more humiliating than throwing all of that down the drain on national television. Needing some place to hide, I can only think of one place I need to be. Summersweet Island, where they'll all be happy to have me home again. Well, except maybe one person. But I'm sure Birdie Bennett, my best friend since I was 15 and the clubhouse manager of my favorite golf course, has had plenty of time to forgive me for that tiny little misunderstanding.

The happiest day of Payton Lambert's life was the day she graduated high school and watched Bald Knob, Kentucky, get smaller and smaller in her rearview mirror. She wanted more for her life than a tiny town where everyone knows your business and you can't find a decent cup of coffee for at least 40 miles. Twelve years later an unexpected phone call in the middle of the night has her packing up her life in Chicago and racing back home to the one person she ever regretted leaving behind.

Publisher's Summary
Claire is a 20-something, single mom who grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life.
When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.
With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim-to-none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.
Warning: Contains explicit sex, profanity, and enough sarcasm to choke a horse.

A Little Disappointing
I'm the romantic fiction junkie in our little foursome; both straight and lesbian, after listening to the novella Tattoos and TaTas I wanted to get all of Tara Sivec's Chocolate series. Okay so I'm happy now this was the only one we purchased this time. There were far too many vanilla sex scenes that mainly served to take up time and did very little to advance the story. Speaking of which, it took way too long for the obvious identity of the protagonists to be revealed in the book. Plus Gavin, the kid was out of control and like too many fictional kids he never got corrected by his parents; for some reason too many authors think this funny. I realize that it's easier to be write interesting fiction for three hours than it is for ten but after the novella this book was a huge disappointment. Despite this, there were enough really good moments in this one that I'd still make a positive recommendation for this book.

OMG I CAN'T BREATH!
Laugh out loud till you can no longer breath and have tears running down your face funny! The most hilarious book I have ever read!
Warnings: This book contains a lot of profanity, rude remarks, sexual undertones, sex toys, chocolate, violence, drinking, and drugs.
This book is not for those who lack a sense of humor or those who are uptight!
Now that is out of the way. Let me tell you to GRAB this book now if you are the types of person who can handle all the warnings. You will not regret this book at all. You will laugh like you have never laughed before. I imagine that everyone can relate to this book in one of the many LOL moments, rather it be things you may have thought or things you may have wanted to say to someone but was too nice to say them.
The characters are loveable but are no holds bars with their way of speech. I think these characters could even make sailors blush. (Cruse like a sailor) remember those words because sailors aint got nothing on this group!
This book starts of with Claire who is a virgin, one night at a college party she meets a guy and decides its time to pop her cherry. From there the laughs begin. I do not want to go into to much of the story so I will stop there. The story is written to where you know what they are thinking inside of their heads ( you know those thoughts you say to yourself but never dare say out loud since its no PC) yeah!!! Then you have those random thoughts that you think so loud that they pop out your mouth and every one's jaws hit the floor! LMAO!!!!
This book is all kinds of crazy ass fun! A laugh a minute that one can not ever regret. If you love comedy and/or America's funniest videos, I highly suggest you pick up this book.

Very funny and light listen. Not a lot happens in the book. It's basically just a plain enjoyable romance. I will say the vagina jokes got really, really old. I think I'd expect more plot for a credit but I got it on sale and I'm very happy with it for a funny laugh out loud light listen.

Cheesey, cheesey, cheesey.
Would you try another book from Tara Sivec and/or Romy Nordlinger?
In a word, no. Talent is not required to form sentences where cursing is used every third word and vulgarity is the main theme. It takes talent to write with entertaining and clever humour. There was none of that. There''s nothing wrong with smut when used to enhance a theme but this was just potty mouth level.
What was most disappointing about Tara Sivec’s story?
I enjoy ckever humour. There was none of that. The characters were supposed to be in their 20's but the dialogue echoed that of badly behaved young teenagers.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Romy Nordlinger?
I don't know. It was difficult to work out which character was supposed to be speaking as Romy was niot able to moderate her voice to differentiate between the characters.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Seduction and Snacks?
Multiple scenes but so many there would hardly be anything unchanged.
Any additional comments?
I read from many genres and a plethora of authors, snd I do enjoy a funny entertaining book. I was looking forward to laughing through a well-written story. This was not it.

Not for those who don't like foul language
The book should carry a disclaimer about the language used. The author must have used every word for sexual anatomy and used them all too many times. A sweet story got lost in the sex talk.

overflowing with UNNECESSARY crassness
This book is laugh-out-loud funny. And the narrator does a fabulous job of bringing out the dry humor. I loved the story line and the normal-life feel of the book. However, I am compelled to write my first review to call out the completely unnecessary crassness. It adds nothing to the story, and I became so focused on it that it took away from my enjoyment of the story at times. Why use the word "vagina" in every other paragraph throughout an ENTIRE BOOK?? Don't get me wrong; I appreciate dialogue using language in the way real people talk. But crass language is not merely peppered throughout this book - the story is DROWNING in it. I wanted to pound my head on a table. I think this book would have been just as funny and far, far better without the crass language so heavily doled out.

Tedious in the extreme
If you are obsessed by your vagina, then maybe this book has some appeal. The endless discussion of male and female genitalia in what is I think, supposed to be a humorous way, becomes tedious in the extreme. The story line is so thin, and the characters predictable and one dimensional.
I found the poor language actually got in the way of any story that might actually be there. It was neither funny nor insightful, erotic, or a beautiful love story; simply one long litany of sexual language and swear words which bored me to death. About two thirds of the way through I gave up. This is my first ever bad purchase.

Great story, struggled with the narrator...
A brilliant story that had me actually laughing out loud. The only issue I had was the way the narrator changed between the viewpoint of Claire and then Carter. This could have been made clearer as sometimes it took a few sentences to establish which point of view I was listening to as sometimes they seemed to run together with very little pause and nothing to suggest that it had changed. It did become slightly easier to distinguish as the book went on but something to be aware of.

Funniest book you will ever listen to!
Any additional comments?
So this book had me laughing out loud a lot.
It is I would possibly say american pie meet fifty shades.
Imagine if you will, you are 20 years old and still a virgin, you want to get rid of your v card and you will do this by any means, Claire does this by getting drunk and having sex with a random man and then getting pregnant on her first time how is that for ironic?
Claire doesn't see the father of her child (until later) and slowly gets back into normal life well as normal as normal can be.
Liz her best friend is amazing, I thought she was wonderful I really enjoyed her character, and also making Claire work selling sex toys is the funniest chapter I have ever read.
Claire is hilarious and Carter is just lovely. There is a lot of use of the word vagina however it's done in a humorous way and I personally I found it very very funny.
Gavin the little boy is absolutely hilarious, and I found myself laughing out loud on the bus to work, getting very funny looks as I always listen to my books on audio.
This book is crude, rude, and very very funny I would highly recommend it especially if you may be looking into the erotic book section and are not too sure about which one to start with.
I have recommended it to all of my friends

So glad to have found a new author to add to my favorites!
I laughed out loud so many times reading this book. I just love Tara's quirky and unconventional view of the divine vocation of motherhood. 🤪
I also found the interaction between Claire & Carter to be refreshingly funny, tender, and sweet... without all the usual frustration and angst.

Tara gives her readers/listeners gawfing, laugh out loud moments.
This book in particle is about unplanned events in life that throw a spanner into future plans but preserving through change and having amazing goals as an outcome.
Tara's spin on Motherhood and life in generally is not at all sugarcoated in this series.

So Funny!!
A fantastic funny book, with lots of hilarious moments sprinkled with sweet ones as well. I loved the secondary characters as well.
