Not that I care much about its history, mind you, but several allies and enemies have suggested it can do a lot more than whack things. Considering the magical bad guys I fight are always stronger, faster, and more powerful than I am, I need every advantage I can get.
There’s just one problem: A half-dwarf thief has shown up and says she’s the rightful heir to the sword.
I want to believe it’s a scam and can’t possibly be true, but I didn’t get the sword in the most legitimate manner. If I have to give it up, I might not be able to do my job anymore, and just as bad, I’ll be a target for all the bad guys who have been waiting for an opportunity to take me down.

Amazing
I have been binge-listening to this series. I had to buy this one bc Overdrive doesn't have it available. Totally worth it. I intend to buy them all.
Lindsey's stories are amazing and different and I love how they build upon each book, recalling past details, etc. I can listen to Vivienne all day long. She well and truly brings each character alive. An excellent narrator is so important. Between Lindsay's storytelling and Vivienne's voice artistry - I love these books.

amazing storyline
it has a good but not all rainbows and chocolate character she does have her own personality and I like that alot had an amazing storyline that i need all these boring love stories have dual my taste in books but this has set my standards High

Can’t wait to hear the next/final book!
I’ve been obsessing over Val’s & Zav’s story since I first discovered the series and can’t believe there’s only one book left! Just like with all the other books Buroker’s written, I was at the edge of my seat the whole time and deeply enjoyed Leheny’s performance! Hilarious and packed with action, adventure, mystery, fantastical elements of all kinds, and romance, you won’t be disappointed by this audiobook!

Love it
Yet again Lindsay Buroker cracked me up and kept me enthralled until the end. The cherry on the top is Vivienne Leheny’s excellent narration. Such a fantastic team up for this audiobook!
