For 10 years, I’ve been using a magical sword that I won in battle to ruthlessly slay enemies, break evil artifacts, and open stubborn pickle jars, but I don’t know much about it.

Thanks to the fact that I’m dating a powerful dragon, I can get a ride to the dwarven home world, and we’re going to research the sword's roots. Not that I care much about its history, mind you, but several allies and enemies have suggested it can do a lot more than whack things. Considering the magical bad guys I fight are always stronger, faster, and more powerful than I am, I need every advantage I can get.

There’s just one problem: A half-dwarf thief has shown up and says she’s the rightful heir to the sword.

I want to believe it’s a scam and can’t possibly be true, but I didn’t get the sword in the most legitimate manner. If I have to give it up, I might not be able to do my job anymore, and just as bad, I’ll be a target for all the bad guys who have been waiting for an opportunity to take me down.

The saga continues. Fun characters and situations that are highly entertaining. Love this series. On to the next one.

Amazing

I have been binge-listening to this series. I had to buy this one bc Overdrive doesn't have it available. Totally worth it. I intend to buy them all.
Lindsey's stories are amazing and different and I love how they build upon each book, recalling past details, etc. I can listen to Vivienne all day long. She well and truly brings each character alive. An excellent narrator is so important. Between Lindsay's storytelling and Vivienne's voice artistry - I love these books.

I couldn't stop till the end! Superb!

I love Lindsey's books. They are age appropriate for me and the humour is off the charts. Very much up my alley. Just enough erotism, supernatural, action and suspense to hook you and keep you going till the end. Too many times I caught myself laughing out loud all by myself. Next please!

amazing storyline

it has a good but not all rainbows and chocolate character she does have her own personality and I like that alot had an amazing storyline that i need all these boring love stories have dual my taste in books but this has set my standards High

It Keeps Getting Better!!

I haven't listened to a series like this in a long time. I can't get enough of Val and her Dragon, lol. The snark, wit, charm, and character development is top notch!! You will not be disappointed with your choice!!
