Not worth it even in the romance package

Gawd! There’s no plot, unless you count sex as one! A 11th grade English paper had more imagination than this poorly written book. How it ever got published I can only begin to guess. Not worth a listen even with it being free/ or included in the romance package. Maybe audible is just shoving poorly written books in this package as a way to actually pay for these books?

Yes. I was drawn into the story from the beginning.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Secret Seduction?

I don't think there was just one. Jason's rescues of Katie was so believable. I felt I was right there cheering them on.

What about Charles Lawrence’s performance did you like?

I was drawn into the story from the beginning, most of it was the book itself but another part was Charles performance. He made you want more when the book ended.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. In fact I did.

Just who was after her?

I loved its unexpected happenings and the funny scenes. I do my traveling through books now. Wish I could be there but this is the second best thing! What is first? Seeing it through my families eyes.

Wow! All I can say is wow!

What an excellent storyline! The twists and turns it takes blew my mind! I thought I knew who was after her and I was so so wrong! Great narration:)

There are some audio issues

There are few audio issue with repeating or Lang’s little. Over I liking the series

good book

plenty of stuff going on to keep you captivated and intrigued. the ending though leaves you with questions. will be interesting to see if the second book can be a stand alone

Who is trying to kidnap her?

Katie and Jason have been friends since they were kids, when he saved her life. She has always wanted more than just friendship with Jason, but he didn't seem inclined to change things. Just as she was trying to tell him how she felt, her world was turned upside down and she left the US and went on a year long "vacation" across Europe. When he finally is ready to let her know that he has been following her around, she is being kidnapped. They start to make their way to Italy and have to dodge kidnappers along the way. They need to find out who is behind the kidnapping attempts.

Fun, with a little romance, a little suspense

I enjoyed this book. I thought the tempo was perfect, enough detail to paint a picture, but not so much as to stop movement of the story.
I really like the location of the book. Having not been there myself (leaving out spoilers), I thought the descriptions were lovely and made me want to travel.
I like an easy listen (or read) and a good story with a happy ending is right up my alley! I can't wait to read or listen to the rest of the series.

It's alright

If you could sum up Secret Seduction in three words, what would they be?

Good book. Fast, suspenseful, steamy. The story line was interesting.

I have a few questions:
- Not entirely I understand the situation of the mother in view of the law. She committed the bigamy whether no? If yes, why wasn't she punished?
- Why at the end nobody became interested who rented thugs and is behind a kidnapping?

It would be better if the book was longer. Through this relationship between Jason and Katie it seems unrealistic. They were friends, not a couple. They have not seen for a year, and after meeting the next day she jumps into his bed (being a virgin).

With this book you can spend an nice evening. Ending begs for reaching for the second book.

Narrator was OK.

Another great one by Jill Sanders. Great characters and a great story. absolutely recommend all of Jill's books.

Enjoyed it completely. Well spoken and well written. A romantic story worth listening to, over and over again.
