Absolutely Amazing!!!

OMG!!! This series!!!! The first two book destroyed me in so many ways and then slowly pieced me back together and this book was no different! I went through every emotion possible when reading Jonas' POV. First I loved him, then I hated him, then I felt bad for him. Seriously! Gina Jones really knows how to tug at every single heart string!!! I must admit, even though I am extremely happy to finally have all the answers, I am sad to see this story end. I will definitely be returning to this series anytime I need a read with lots of twists and turns! The narration was perfect! I wouldn't change a thing about it!

What a ride!! Gina gave us one roller coaster of a mystery!! I never knew which way was up. Who did it? who's the enemy? What's the truth? Who to trust? I loved it!!! this series grew and grew with one mystery after another. As soon as one mystery because clear, another would develop. I thought it was fantastic! Narration was great! Aaron Shedlock always has a wonderful narration. His female voice is AMAZING. Great portrayal, clear voice, clean editing. A++ 🎧AudiobookObsession

What a conclusion to an amazing series

🎧Audiobook Obsession 🎧 Just when you think Jonas and Julia is finally getting their HEA, bam! karma rear it's ugly head. The secrets and lies have finally culminated and we're getting Jonas, and oh my what a devious devil he his. What an emotional rollercoaster this was. It was suspenseful, steamy, funny, and romantic. Sometimes I love him, hate him, other times I just wanna hug him. Happy as I am to get all the answers, I didn't want it to end, because I'm going to miss them. I always enjoy Aaron's narration, he is amazing, perfect for Jonas.

What a way to end this book series. These books were so exciting and interesting to listen to. I just loved the story line. It made me laugh and cry. All of them were very emotional and loving. Your a great writer of romance. I liked how you had written in the male character telling his side of the story. Aaron has a very sexy voice and I loved how he narrators this book.

The strength of love

A fitting end to a wonderful trilogy. The author did a fabulous job of establishing the plot and developing her characters - Julia and Jonas' divergent personalities were brilliantly taken to new heights . Gone is Julia's gullible and naive nature. She truly goes through a metamorphosis. Jonas appeared so hard and emotionless but it turns out he was a character you had to have empathy for. He suffered from PTSD numerous times over and was so tortured. Once you really got to know him you realized he is a devoted and benevolent man. Despite deceit and hopelessness, love has an amazing power to heal. 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Exasperating end to the trilogy!!

I absolutely loved this series. The secrets and twists and turns made it hard to put this final book down. I fell in love with the character and the settings. If your looking for a great trilogy that keeps you guessing read this one. I wish there were more books in this series!

Loved this one❤️

The narration was on point on the third book. The first two I really didn’t care for the narrators voice or maybe it was the cadence of her reading/speech. I had to put the speed to 1.5 her reading was irritating me just to finish books 1 & 2. I loved the story that much I wanted to finish and move to the next book in the series. But Aaron voice pitch was sexy and kept me interested, horny😜 I couldn’t put the third one down❤️❤️

Perfectly sculpted!

Narrator Review (Aaron): THIS. MAN. Jeez I can listen to him all day. Do not drive and listen to this audiobook, you will be so distracted. I'm speaking from experience here. Listen to Aaron in a "safe place." So, in a bubble bath. This is assuming you won't accidentally drown yourself because your head's tipping over from swooning. Aaron is just dangerous no matter where you listen to him. My favorite part about this narration is his timing. He has impeccable comedic timing, even when the text has dark undertones. I can't help but snort in agreement whenever he says something totally outlandish because it just makes SENSE. Aaron makes it make sense. Does that make sense? He has a rare talent of grabbing my guts and twisting them in knots. In the most satisfying way, of course. Book Review: Our hunk of a devil is finally at the end of his transformation! Or so we thought. You know, Julia and Jonas have been though a heck of lot in the last two books...now, you'd think they'd finally get their happy ending, right? Well, they do. But we're talking about Gina A. Jones right now, and she knows how to stir up the angst! In this book, we experience Jonas and his thoughts. We are presented a string of timelines that portray the complex world of Jonas Fairbanks. I didn't think Gina Jones could outdo herself, but she completely tore me up with this final book of the series. My heart is leaking. You'd all be proud of me...I read the series in order this time. Believe me, I tried to skip ahead to figure out what happens next, but I'd only end up completely frustrated that I missed out on two pages of text! Like, gag! It's torture. This book is saucy, y'all. SAUC-AY. Jonas is laying it all out of the table for us to devour, and I gladly accept this challenge. -- "I want to go with you…but don’t make me watch you have sex with someone else...okay?" -- Oh how far we've come since Book #1. Does everything happen for a reason? I hope not, because I just want Julia and Jonas to finally be happy together! The deception. The lies. Julia and Jonas navigate dark waters together as demons continue to pull at their relationship. But, of course, Gina Jones does that brilliant thing she always does and pulls the piece together for a killer of an ending. Secret Enemy is perfectly sculpted.

Great additon to the series and Great Performance!

4 Story 4.5 Performance 4 Overall Great addition to the series. Is suspenseful, intriguing, captivating and with great characterization, tiwsts and turns. Expect the unexpected. The recap was thoughtful but a little overdone, just my personal opinion. Excellent performance by Aaron Shedlock!! I don't go into big detail, since this is part of a series and I wouldn't ever spoil a story for someone else.

Secret Enemy

Secret Enemy was the best book in the Secret Series. This series needs to be turned into a movie. I enjoyed listening to it, and I thought that the narrator was excellent. It was very interesting to see things from Jonas' point of view. At times, I was angry with him, and other times I was sad for him. However, what I enjoyed most were the subtle Christian elements. Now let me explain; some people reading will say this is definitely not how Christian characters should act. Keep in mind that I did not say this was a Christian book, but it had touches of the Christian faith, which did not bother me because I mostly read Christian fiction. I hope Gina A. Jones will give Luke and Natalie a story. I know Luke is much younger than her, but wouldn't that make an interesting twist? Gina A. Jones, if you are reading this review, please give these two a story. Overall, this was one of the best series that I have had the privilege to indulge in for a while. I did not want it to end. I want Sydney to have her own story too. I feel lost, because I feel like these characters are my friends who I know will stay in my head for weeks and months. They will say, "Do you remember when you listened to the story about a damaged king, an innocent queen, and princess who just wanted a family?"

A Must Listen Series!

I cannot describe how much I loved this trilogy, it is now one of my top book series! I loved every twist, I loved the characters, I loved the settings, I loved the story telling, suspense and surprises! I loved the narration - Aaron was perfect and I loved listening to his telling Jonas's side of his story and his love and passion for the love of his life. I don't want to spoil anything and give anything away but if you like hot, romantic suspense stories then this is a must for you! I will definitely be reading more of Gina's work in the future!

Stunningly brilliant

WOW - I dont think i have loved and hated a story as much as I did this one!!! The twists and turns of this rollercoaster of emotions had me enthralled!! What a stunningly amazing last book of the series. Having it from Jonas's point of view seemed weird at first but with the flash backs to the past running along side the current times line it filled in all the blanks from his side of the story and more secrets are uncovered!! I cant recommend this series strongly enough if you are looking for many hours of thrilling, intruiging and sexy story telling!!

An amazing ending to a wonderful series!

What an awesome way to finish this series! Getting to here things from Jonas' point of view was such an emotional journey! There were times I just wanted to skip to the end and see if everything was going to be okay because my heart was being ripped out! I'm glad I stuck with it though and was rewarded with an amazing story and an ending I won't ruin. #audiobookobsessionreviewer

Gutted it’s over

I threw the headphones in and started the car .. a mans voice! Noooo! What are they doing!!! (Obviously I hadn’t read the blurb, it would prolong my listening) Aaron Sherlock read it fantastically, he was Jonus! And he did the other voices proud. This was his story! ... it was Awesome!

Secret Enemy

This is not a stand alone series, you have to read books 1 & 2 first. The twists are jaw dropping, and you absolutely do not see them coming. From beginning to end emotions run high, right along with the action. This was an amazing end to the series! Aarons narration was perfect! Well Done! #AudiobookObsession 🎧AudiobookReviewer

Secret Enemy

I must say Gina Jones could not have chosen a better narrator than Aaron Shedlock to voice Jonas. I think he nailed the character. As Julia and Jonas pick up where book 2 leaves off they are looking for their baby boy and Jonas seems to have even more secrets. I love how Julia took things in her own hands and came up with a plan to fix their family. The book lays everything out from Jonas POV, so you get a lot of repeated scenes on from his POV. And wow it makes me wonder if this man needs some therapy for his obsessive behaviors. I am so glad I listened and finished the series out. Aaron defiantly brought the hotness to Jonas side of it.

Part 3 of 3

The storylines in the first two books had a very high level of drama with pretty predictable cliffhangers. This third book has all the drama of the first two, but there were actually some things to Jonas' side of the events in the first book that surprised me. I loved that this third book switched perspective, which is why I rated it higher than the first two in the series. You get to see Jonas's side of the events in the first book as well as additional events beyond the end of the second book. As the story progressed, I liked Jonas both more and less at the same time, and wasn't sure if I was rooting for Julia to end up with him or Luke. Whether or not I like the events of the story, if the character's actions matter to me, I appreciate what the author created. (And I was definitely not liking them when about 2 minutes into the book I discovered that there were even more secrets. Did Jonas learn nothing in the first two books?!) Aaron Shedlock was a new narrator for me and I really liked his performance was great. I'd listen to more by him in the future. #AudiobookObsession
