Elsewhere, fragments of first love are glimpsed, pursued, and interrogated; fathers sit down to eat with the sons they have killed; two textbooks sing three songs of suppressed longing; bees are kept for all the wrong reasons.
This is low modernism of the highest order, cranky, eloquent, and broken-hearted - a terrific addition to the UK’s poetry landscape.

A Most Beautifully Spoken, escape
as soneone who was looking for breathtaking poetry, i feel i have truly found it in these poems. i get the sense that the author has really put their soul into the pages as well as their voice in the audiobook. i also think that more people should read these words and get into immersion reading, because it really works to follow along as being read to. it is an amazing expierence, at keast for me. loved every word.
