Sara is missing in the Cayman Islands. No one knows it. Except her abductors, of course.

Beloved CIA heroine Jamie Austen is sent to Tampico, Mexico, to rescue four girls abducted on their senior class trips. Are the cases related?

All of Jamie’s skills are tested as she must overcome the powerful drug warlord El Mata, his ruthless band of heavily armed killers, and a hurricane that’s bearing down on the Caribbean islands.

Terry Toler is the best-selling and award-winning author of 17 nonfiction books and 14 novels.

Riveting story!

Jamie Austin is an amazing character and the narrator really brings her to life. The story is fast paced with lots of twists and turns and deals with a subject that is very current. The narrator has a great pace to the reading and literally draws you into the flow of the story. It is awesome to be able to read and listen to spy thrillers and suspense stories without gratuitous sex and violence. I highly recommend reading the entire Jamie Austin series. You will not be disappointed.

Predictable story and conclusion

The notion of the CIA couple and their work catching “the bad guy” is one I enjoy. In my opinion the writing needs to become more mature. At the end of this book we read (hear) about what is next for them. I will likely get the next book in the series and decide whether to buy more after that.

It was too obvious early on the step dad was dirty in the ransom situation. Parachuting into the eye of the hurricane was a stretch but was ok. Toler interjects virginity and saving herself for marriage into the stories too. I am not sure what that adds however it is the authors prerogative and it must be a message she finds important to convey to the reader.

Contrived characters and unbelievable plot elements.

Mediocre book after unfulfilled hype. Some elements of interest but focus on the main character being a dangerous hard ass falls short as she comes off as a dumb ass.
