Three lives on a collision course with destiny....

Logan Construction Services CEO Dan Logan desperately wants to get away and lick his wounds after being dumped by his fiancée and suffering through a devastating jobsite fatality on the same day. He retreats to a secluded island alone, but his vacation takes a dangerous turn when he rescues a teenage boy who shipwrecks on the rocky shore. A battle of wills ensues that threatens both their lives.

Dory Devereaux, a widow of six years, flees Massachusetts with her delinquent sixteen-year-old son, Chase, hoping to keep him from being placed in juvenile detention until he’s deemed an adult at 18. Her world crumbles when she finds Chase missing the morning after arriving at her former in-laws’ house in South Carolina.

Anxiety turns to despair when the police take Dory to the morgue to possibly identify a teen boy whose body was found washed ashore by a local fisherman. Can things get any worse?

Saving a teen aged boy.

My take away from this book: Our youth need fathers/men in their lives. No more man bashing. Women, lift up your men. They have a major role in God's order. God's plan.

Saving Chase is well written. A heartfelt story, coming of age, with a little romance. It could be a movie. It is that good.

I was gifted an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. Dallin Bradford, the narrator, presented this story beautifully. He's easy to listen to with a voice to match the characters. 5 stars for him as well.

Fast paced happily ever after

Saving Chase was a really captivating story. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it! This book is a little different in that the romance doesn’t come into play until the last part of the book. Dan and Dory have a quick sweet relationship before the book ends. Most if the story is Dan bonding with Dory’s son Chase. Chase has run away and he ends up on an island with Dan. Dan has come to the island to breath after a difficult time at work. Their lives collide, and Chase learns a lot about being a better person from Dan. I couldn’t put the book down!

Wow! I loved it!

Oh! I loved this one! This is the first book in the Crescent Harbor Series. The storyline is beautifully written, and heartwarming. The cast of characters is amazing!! Dan and Chase are fantastic characters. Dan is handsome, caring, protective, and supportive. Dory, Chase's single Mom, is beautiful, strong, and supportive. The grandparents are fantastic supporting characters. The supporting characters are great! I liked the twists and turns, the adventure, and the little and clean romance by the end. Dallin Bradford did an amazing job with the narration. He has a beautiful voice, very pleasant to listen to. This is a great story, and I enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward for more in the series. I HIGHLY recommend it.

A really good story!

When Dan saves chases life, Little do they both know that lives will be changed forever and that of chases mom. This book is so good and I gave a brief summary because there were things I didn’t know that made the story that much better and so I don’t want to ruin it for anyone else. There isn’t anything negative I can say about The story or narration. I truly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Enjoy the Journey

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Saving Chase. The story is engaging and each of the characters have depth and grow through circumstances that none of them wanted or thought they would be in. I am excited to listen to Loving Dory to see what challenges these characters will face. Great narration as well.

Great Story & Narration🎧 Gripping & Heartfelt!

I enjoyed this book immensely, the story drew me right in, grabbing my attention and captivating it the entire book. This is my first book by Irene Onorato, she is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style, the story has a natural flow to it and the characters and storylines she created are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. Her character development is amazing, especially for Chase, I loved how much he grew as a person by the end. I loved uniqueness and originality of this story, it is a wonderful coming of age story with a side of romance. There are three lead characters in this book, Dan Logan, Dory Devereaux and her son Chase, but a good chunk of of the book features Dan and Chase, Dan was spending some alone time on a secluded island when Chase washes or rather crash lands on shore. Chase, a troubled teenager, is stranded there until Dan’s friend return to pick him up. Dan saw that Chase needed an attitude adjustment and he handled him smartly and with ease. Chase’s mother, Dory, is filled with worry wondering what happen to her son. After a scare, she gets the call she has been waiting for and she is surprised what she finds. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is beautifully plotted and contains a whole lot of heart. There is plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, new friendships and a possible romance. Irene Onorato, thank you for this wonderfully entertaining story.

🎧📚🎧 And fabulous narration, Dallin Bradford is a talented narrator and voice artist. He did a great job bringing these characters to life, giving each their own voice making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. His portrayal of each character is spot on, he takes each role and makes it his own sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound. He sets the perfect tone for the story, captures all of the characters emotions and projects them into this performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen🎧

A feel good book for a gloomy time

I received a copy of this from StoryOrigin then decided it didn’t look like my cup of tea so I put off listening to it. When I finally started it I still wasn’t sure about it. Rude goth juvenile delinquent wasn’t my favorite character. Chase grows a lot in this book. The author did an excellent job at showing how tough love and understanding and patience are important to troubled teens. Chase shed his goth appearance and rude persona to become a strong character. Dan was the perfect hero that will have female readers drooling. I really loved this book!

Great Narrator!

I listened to this book several times from start to finish. Because I wasn't drawn by the story. So each time I listened, I caught more details that I missed from the last time. Saving Chase could definitely be a Hallmark channel story. There were funny moments in the story...in regards to how Chase responded sometimes, just a typical teenage boy. The narrator delivered those moments well.
