Engrossing story with classy polyandry

I read these this summer and I must say that the performance is superior to my inner monolog . There were a few places where it was clear that the production had to re-record a portion and it sounded like they were in an all tile bathroom. Additionally there were a few spots where it was just plain reading and not a "performance", but those minor details do not take away from the story or the overall performance. She did a great job.

The story has a few twists, turns, words, and actions that leave me befuddled. Without any spoilers, I'll say that some simple solutions are overlooked. Why can't she just get her GED or take classes online? I know that takes away from all the high school drama, but c'mon. If she's open enough to have 4 partners polyandry style, she ought to be open to taking classes online. I also think that it would have been nice to get some background on the guys. More character building. Yes they are upstanding wonderful men who have real problems and real positives, but don't they have friends or other hobbies? Superhero movies can't be that which she hangs all her hats on...right? Lastly for the next series, enough with "laboriously". Thesaurus, thesaurus, thesaurus (I had to look up the spelling) please use one. There are so many words for laboring extra hard. When you hear a phrase over and over it sticks out way more than reading so it was mildly irritating. All and all it's a good series and this production has proven that audiobooks are more than just words read out loud.

TL;DR

Good book, needs character building, simple solutions to problems ignored, over use of a few words. Worth the credit.

this series had a truly fantastic start, and while I still enjoyed it and will get the next installation, I felt like too much time is devoted to sexy times.

the series plot certainly thickens; hopefully the next book is a little longer.

can't get enough

Great character deleopment. Nicely paced drama and action scenes. very relatable young heroine. steamy love scenes.

Great story but rough editing.

I read this series and loved it so when I saw the audio available I was excited. The female narrator has a good voice but there is a gasp/breathing that happened at the beginning of her sentences that should have been edited out. Annoying after awhile.

Fantastic story telling

I love this series so much and I’m ready to download the audiobooks the second they drop to hear this story. Ingrid does a great job bringing Shiloh to life and I believe she does a fantastic job making the suspense palpable and engaging.
