Engrossing story with classy polyandry

I read these this summer and I must say that the performance is superior to my inner monolog . There were a few places where it was clear that the production had to re-record a portion and it sounded like they were in an all tile bathroom. Additionally there were a few spots where it was just plain reading and not a "performance", but those minor details do not take away from the story or the overall performance. She did a great job.

The story has a few twists, turns, words, and actions that leave me befuddled. Without any spoilers, I'll say that some simple solutions are overlooked. Why can't she just get her GED or take classes online? I know that takes away from all the high school drama, but c'mon. If she's open enough to have 4 partners polyandry style, she ought to be open to taking classes online. I also think that it would have been nice to get some background on the guys. More character building. Yes they are upstanding wonderful men who have real problems and real positives, but don't they have friends or other hobbies? Superhero movies can't be that which she hangs all her hats on...right? Lastly for the next series, enough with "laboriously". Thesaurus, thesaurus, thesaurus (I had to look up the spelling) please use one. There are so many words for laboring extra hard. When you hear a phrase over and over it sticks out way more than reading so it was mildly irritating. All and all it's a good series and this production has proven that audiobooks are more than just words read out loud.

TL;DR

Good book, needs character building, simple solutions to problems ignored, over use of a few words. Worth the credit.

Save Me

I love this series and was so excited to find it on audio. The first book was a female narrator and her male voice was weak and was hard to detect the difference in the male voices. The second book showed a male and female narrator, but was very disappointed that all the male voice spoke was at the very beginning with Creed talking. I still will continue to listen to the rest of the series because I love this story.

this series had a truly fantastic start, and while I still enjoyed it and will get the next installation, I felt like too much time is devoted to sexy times.

the series plot certainly thickens; hopefully the next book is a little longer.

Great character deleopment. Nicely paced drama and action scenes. very relatable young heroine. steamy love scenes.

Fantastic story telling

I love this series so much and I’m ready to download the audiobooks the second they drop to hear this story. Ingrid does a great job bringing Shiloh to life and I believe she does a fantastic job making the suspense palpable and engaging.

These narrators!!!!!

This has been hands down my favorite series since book 1 came out! I throughly loved every aspect of this story & now having it in audio??? LIFE CHANGING.

Ingrid Greene & Ryan West truly did such a good job at bringing Shiloh, Colt, Creed, Keelan & Knox to full life. I was not ready for it to end & can’t believe I have to wait for book 3!!!

They created such a beautiful connection with the characters, I was so impressed.

That’s it. Twins. God thank you for twins 😩 also, wtf happened to the male narrator? 😂 I realized so far in that we heard him at the beginning and never again lol.

Needs editing

The huge gasp of air taken every minute should have been edited out. It really grinds your nerves. If I hadn’t read the book and knew how great it was I would have stopped listening because it gets so annoying. It’s not a quite gasp it so loud you can’t ignore it.

Side Quests that Fit

I blew through the next book in the WITSEC series just as quick as before. I’m finding the pacing and the relationship development between the characters appropriate for the book length. I also am enjoying how each MMC is bonding and getting to know Shi in their own ways.

In between the main overarching story, we got two new developments with other questionable characters! I’m loving how everything is fitting together. Nothing feels out of place or piled on for the sake of piling on. I think this speaks to the pacing as the series as a whole. Jumping into book three ASAP.
