perfect flow to this narrated version I loved the characters and the flow and the chemistry!!!

Full of mystery and great characters!

This is my favorite contemporary book by Eva and Harlow so far. Wow! I've enjoyed all their books in this Devil's Dozen world, but what really won me over with this new series was that all the characters are more "normal". They don't come from a criminal background, so it was easy to relate to them. I especially love that the female main character is smart and studious (again, helped me relate to her). I'm also really loving all her men so far, and the character development is spot on, as usual. And lastly, the story kept me on my toes guessing the whole time. I loved the mystery and suspense of the plot and relationships!

Great! Even if it is a cliffhanger ending...

Madelyn is settling in to college life when she gets a shock - her car has been stolen right out of a university lot. Her choices are to either report it to campus security (who will do nothing) or to report it to a group on campus who call themselves the Vigil - she goes with option two. She is double shocked to find out that her stepbrother, Logan, and two of his high school friends are the only members of the Vigil.

Though Madelyn knew Logan attended the same university, he had been totally ghosting her for two years - which was when they had had their one and only hookup. Logan seems determined to continue ignoring her, until she tells the group that a box that was the property of her deceased father was in the car. The box was important to her because it was his. They tell her they will find her car - and the box - for her, but she is not leaving that up to chance. She plans on being part of the investigation, which does not sit will with Logan. His two friends, Slade and Dexter, don't feel the same way and do their best to make sure she is included.

I don't want to spoil the story for you. It is a cliffhanger ending, so be prepared. There is a mystery about why Logan, Slade, and Dexter are so set on their crusade to get justice for students on campus and why the box that was originally the property of Madelyn's father was such a draw for them. There is also another man who is showing interest in Maddy. Beckett's initial notice of her seems to have to do with her involvement with the three guys in the Vigil, but he finds that he enjoys her company. So, stay tuned...it seems Madelyn may have four guys who want her.

savage is right

This is the first book in a new series from one of my one-click authors. I got pulled in from the very beginning and didn't want it to end. The mystery of what is really going on is interesting and let's not forget the guys because there's so much more to learn about them all
I listened and read this book and the narrators do an awesome job

Very mysterious

Lots of mystery and not as much romance but it was a great story. Kept my interest and the acting was great! The reverse harem seems to be gaining each member per book. Looking forward to the next book.

I need the next book to be on audio ASAP! Absolutely loved this. Eva always chooses the best narrators and this is no exception. I really really need the next audiobook.

Good story

This book starts out kind of slow, but you get to see the secrets and intrigue building as the book goes along. It leaves you eagerly awaiting the next one.

It's no surprise that I love this latest series - it's by Eva Chance (and Harlow King), so I expect it to tick all my boxes. Solid, non-whiny heroine, sexy guys, steamy scenes and a story that sucks you in. Our main heroine is Maddie. When her car disappears from campus, she has to go to a group on campus that are known for righting injustices to try to get it back. Unfortunately, her stepbrother Logan and his friends are members of that group. Maddie and Logan have a complicated past, and he wants nothing to do with her, though it's obvious he really wants her. His jealousy jumps off the page, especially when it comes to Maddie cuddling up with Slade. I'm looking forward to learning more about Dexter and figuring out how Becket fits into all of this whole thing. Bring on book 2!

Thrilling ride.

These characters and this world captivated me from the very beginning. While I wasn't sure what to expect, I quickly became absorbed in the story as I was drawn into it.

I could not stop reading every chapter. My heart was stolen by Maddie and her amazing character, then I met Logan, and then I met two more guys to fall in love with.

I can hardly wait to see what lies ahead in this world of theirs, the suspense is killing me.
