Publisher's Summary

The first rule of working together? Don't fall for the boss' daughter. Definitely don't fall for her when you're trying to buy the business.

The trouble is Sloane is smack dab next to me from nine to freaking five. And she's as captivating, brilliant, and sexy as ever, which means I'm taking more than the recommended dosage of office romance temptation every day. Make that every single second, because she's not only "the one" - she's the one who got away.

But she's the very definition of off-limits, so I keep my hands to myself. Fine, we might flirt. Okay, we do indulge in the occasional dirty text. And there was that one time when we kissed on the street. But we've been good since then.

Until the night she issues me a challenge - seven nights of O lessons and then we walk away.

Sounds like a simple arrangement.

But I was never good with those kind of rules.

This innovative new production includes the full-length novel of Satisfaction Guaranteed, as well as an album! At the end of the story, you'll be treated to an album of classic love songs you know and love performed by Jason Clarke in a fully produced musical performance that ties into the story line!

The songs included in the album are standards made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Ella Fitzgerald, and Marilyn Monroe and include "The Curse of an Aching Heart", "After You've Gone", "Baby, Won't You Please Come Home", "I Ain't Got Nobody (And Nobody Cares for Me)", "After You Get What You Want, You Don't Want It", "Let Me Call You Sweetheart", and "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows".

Satisfaction Guaranteed

We want what we can’t have, Malone and Sloane circle each other and their chemistry is off the charts. But they both respect her father who is also Malone business partner too much to start something. Years go by and they are connecting again only it’s not as easy to stay away this time. That chemistry thing ;) is biting them in the butts. I love the way this book made me feel, Malone takes his career seriously but also knows what he wants and is willing to fight for it. I find this admirable. I love books where you can just enjoy the simplicity of the story and the tone, Sigh, I was left smiling and wanting more. I loved the narration, Jason Clarke’s voice I swear to god, and he can SING too! I mean DEAD, just DEAD. Andi is a pro and I adore her voice.

I always get excited to start a new Lauren Blakely book because I know I'll love it and when it's over I'll will have a smile on my face and a very happy heart. Satisfaction Guaranteed was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. After meeting this couple in Delayed Satisfaction I was dying for this book. Sloane & Mallone had it all from the beginning, 7 years earlier. I loved that they tried to be friends even though they both felt that major attraction. That gave this book a second chance(ish) - friends to lovers feel mixed with an instant attraction to give us serious chemistry! I always enjoy when the characters have fun together instead of all the unnecessary drama in most books and these two had fun, they laughed, teased and were honest and unashamed. Their love story was swoon worthy and so sweet with lots of heat too. Who doesn't love a hot animal loving Veterinarian... Oh Malone moved way up my list of Lauren Blakely Book Boyfriends for sure. NOW lets talk about the AUDIOBOOK! Jason Clarke was AMAZING as Malone!! Malone is a sort of lounge singer so Jason Clark SINGS in this book!!! He literally sings and plays piano for 7 songs! It's awesome but what is even more amazing is that at the end when he does the most singing it is integrated into the story. So your not just listening to him sing like a crooner but it's more like sound effects in the story because they are still talking and the story is still going on while he is singing. I loved it! It was so different and fun but seriously that is not a surprise at all because Lauren is the QUEEN of Audiobooks! She is always coming up with new fun things to add to her audiobooks and her narrators are always cast perfectly. I'll be honest, I feel like anyone who only reads her books is truly doing themselves a disservice because they are missing out on so much. This audiobook also includes the novella Sweet Desire, which is book 1.5 in the Sinful Nights series. Listening to this little tease of Sophia and Ryan made me want to go back and re-listen to that entire series. I love that Lauren is giving us the novella's with other audiobooks, I wish more authors would do this because some people skip the novellas when they only listen to audiobooks because it's not on audio.... just another reason to LOVE Lauren Blakely!

Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt Sing!

I was really not into this book when I first started it, but I'm so glad I went back to it! I couldn't get the smile off my face away the end! the old crooner songs.... BEING SUNG.... was just such an awesome way that Lauren Blakely shows what a leader she is in bringing her audio books to life. The story was sweet, then interesting and so very true for a lot of women and very refreshing to have the issue faced head on! All in all, I'm very glad I went back to listen! I loved hearing Andi and Jason sing and how the music and lyrics really spoke of their relationship! Music is like that!

Definitely worth a credit! 👍🏻 Maybe even two!!

Satisfaction Guaranteed knocked my socks🧦 off! Lauren has put a new spin (at least for me) on the romance story. First off, what woman wouldn’t want to take their fur baby to a hot as sin veterinarian who also serenades his patients (can you say ‘swoon’). Then, imagine being a woman who has never experienced the BIG O from a partner. Normally, in romance novels, O’s are passed out like candy on Halloween. Malone quickly figures out Sloane’s secret and proclaims he can remedy the issue for her in one week, satisfaction guaranteed! Yes please! Sign me up!!! Narrators Jason Clarke & Andi Arndt give a stellar performance, once again. Jason proves that he is multifaceted, not only with his range of speaking voices and various accents, but now, the listener has been given a treat with his singing abilities. Jason sings a few bars of a couple of songs throughout the story. Then, at the conclusion of the story, Lauren includes an album of seven love songs performed by Jason Clarke. Andi even gives us a taste of her own angelic singing voice. This one is definitely worth a credit! 👍🏻 Lauren Blakely is in a class all her own! She is bold and not afraid to try new things with her audio books! Well done and BRAVO! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wonderful narration of a sizzling book.

Andi Arndt is always lovely to listen to. This might have been my first audiobook with Jason Clarke and I am now a big fan of his as well. These two were especially great together and I loved the chemistry between them.

Chapter 55 is definitely Satisfaction Guaranteed

Another great book by Lauren Blakely, with a new twist of Jason Clarke singing and even Andi Arndt sang a few bars. Hearing small clips of Malone singing during the story added to finally reaching Chapter 55. Can’t wait to see what Lauren does next and hope that more authors follow her example and include some music.

5 Stars for Lauren and a singing Jason Clarke!

Satisfaction Guaranteed is Lauren Blakely's newest swoonworthy, sexy romance. It's like she knows exactly what I love and writes it! Second chance romance is my favorite and Lauren writes them better than anyone else. This has a little added forbidden which just adds a to the sexiness. Lauren Blakely knows how to write romance with sexy, smart leading men and women, lovable secondary characters and adorable animals! Overall, I loved every word. I laughed, cried, majorly swooned and got very hot and bothered. Story: Malone is a sexy, smart veterinarian who's also a crooner. Start fanning yourself now, ladies. He's smart, mature, loves animals, he's loyal and he sings like an angel. When a sexy blonde catches his eyes while he's singing, he barely makes it through the song to get to her. They have an instant attraction but he can't pursue her because she's his new boss's daughter. Fast forward seven years and Sloane is back in his life. This time they are actually working together. How long can they keep it purely professional? Malone never backs down from a challenge and he vows to give her what no other man has ever been able to. Can they work together by day and spend their nights in each other's arms? Will Malone let The One get away again? Oh Malone, you captured my heart. Everything about you is perfection. I feel like I say this a lot but Malone is one of my favorite Blakely Boys! I love his confidence, brains, sexiness and I'm a sucker for a man who can sing. Sloane is the perfect woman for him. She's dedicated, smart, gorgeous and isn't afraid to go after what she wants. They support each other as much as they show their love for each other. Audio: Lauren Blakely is brilliant at casting her audio books. As you know, I’m a HUGE fan of Jason Clarke and good Lord, the man sings like an angel. I thought his speaking voice gave me tingles, his singing is just off the charts delicious! Jason and Andi were these characters for me! I'm always amazed how they can make their voices fresh and unique with every story and I have to say this is one of my favorite stories of Lauren's and one of my favorites by Jason.

Satisfaction most definitely guaranteed!

Hands down one of my favorite books from Lauren Blakely! Satisfaction Guaranteed is off the charts sexy and gave me a new #1 Blakely book boyfriend. Hands off, ladies, Malone is MINE!! Satisfaction Guaranteed absolutely lives up to its name! Malone is the total package. He's smart, sexy and oh my God so swoon worthy! I'd totally be a Good Man Groupie (can I get a tshirt of that, please?!). I wasn't kidding when I said Malone is mine. Don't get me wrong, I love all of this Author's heroes-how could you not-but I had a favorite for years and Malone knocked him off his perch! Malone can take me to Tahiti anytime... I loved seeing how we got Sloane's perspective in this book, since it really is told from Malone's POV with just a smattering of Sloane's insight. She's sweet and funny and definitely holds her own with Malone. These two have such an intense connection. It's palpable from the moment they meet again right through the very end. Their banter was top notch and it just flowed beautifully. Their sexy times were definitely kindle meltingly hot. There is a scene here that I literally said YES out loud during because it was so realistic and it made me chuckle. I won't say why exactly, but it's something I haven't read in a romance but something that I know occurs and so it just made this story all the more real. The supporting cast of characters here are an absolute blast. I loved seeing some old characters pop up (they literally made me smile every time) and I definitely was intrigued by some other characters who I know are getting their own story later. But none of them overshadowed Malone and Sloane. They supported without overpowering. Now, I will say I groaned at Doug a time or two, but all good naturedly! This book just flowed. I was enthralled from start to finish. I truly felt I was transported with these characters...and I'll say Malone can take me to Tahiti anytime. I have to talk about the audio performance of this book because it is PHENOMENAL. Pure perfection. Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt have brought these characters to life. The weaving in of music is a brilliant touch and I'm so incredibly blown away by Jason Clarke's talent. The story was brought into another dimension with this performance. If I could give this book more than five stars I would. It definitely deserves it. This second chance romance is full of the heart, heat and humor that I adore from Lauren Blakely. Believe me when I say this title MORE than lives up to its name. I absolutely LOVED this book from start to finish and can't wait to see what this Author gives us next.

Purrrrfection!

It’s so well done that you literally lose yourself into the audiobook and feel like you are there because the production is so incredible! Jason Clarke at his best! I love Sloane and Malone. I had moments where I literally laughed out loud. I loved Malone and his heart for the animals, and his banter with his sister. It was adorable the way Malone would sing to the animals, and sing old classics nonetheless. I loved that this story was mostly from Malone’s POV. I thought it was great that Sloane followed her passion for saving animals. What a better couple than one who saves animals and one who keeps them healthy. Such a great story!

Jason Clarke is singing THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!!!

I've said it before and i'll say it again, if you want to listen to a great romance audio, then you should listen to Lauren Blakely. Why? Because she spends so much time on her audio books as she is an avid listener, she ALWAYS delivers with the narrators that she picks, and her stories are ALWAYS sweet, sassy and low drama. And if you are really lucky, (such as this book) you will also get some swoon worthy singing in it YES I SAID SINGING!! This gorgeous book was narrated by Jason Clarke, and the Queen of Romance narration, the stunning Miss Andi Arndt. So if you want to be swept off of your feet with yet another cracker of a story by Ms Blakely, then you should really grab this one. Not only do you get the brilliant story of Sloane & Malone, a friends to lovers story, with some great crooning from Jason Clarke (Swoon) you also get your hands on the Novella for book 1.5 in the Sinful Nights series, which will have you desperate to get your hands on the full series.

Jason Clark sings an album of songs in this book!

Yes, it's true. Jason Clarke is plays a swoon-worthy veterinarian who nightowl's as a lounge singer. The story is very good, although I can't really get behind the whole concept of, "I can't date the bosses daughter so I have to dump her and break her heart, rather than have the balls to just talk to the man about it." That just seemed quite antiquated in contrast to the current era of the story, I don't know anyone who would do that. But Jason Clarke sings throughout the book, and at the end there is an epilogue of him doing practically an entire album of songs with Andi Arndt narrating as well, as if he is singing them just for her. It's cute... he's an above average singer. Do I think he'd win American Idol? Not really, but he might get in the top 10. Do I adore his narration voice? Definitely more than his singing voice but I'm impressed that he can pull it off enough to make the ladies swoon! Oh, almost forgot it has the added temptation of minor role played by Shane East, who takes the lead in Book 2 which focuses on his character Jason.

Hooked from the get-go

Aah. I’ve got to say, I can’t fault Lauren Blakely’s writing. I’ve loved every book I’ve read, yes, some more than others, but I’ve still loved them, totally addictive easy reading, fantastic characters, and wonderful writing. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.....she gets the best narrators, every single time. Satisfaction guaranteed is no different, I was hooked from the get-go. Forbidden second chance romance, oh and our main character, a sexy, adorable vet (who truly loves animals and his job), can also sing like a dream. When Malone discovers he’s fallen for the daughter of his new boss, he instantly calls off the possibility of any further possible romantic entanglements between them. 7 years later they find themselves face to face again, and they’re still in exactly the same predicament, the chemistry is still off the charts, and, they still try to keep it all under wraps. Great story with great narration, oh and keep listening because you get Jason Clarke giving us a song or two at the end.

AMAZING!

I loved this book! I listened to this book as an audiobook and don’t regret it. Both the female and male narrators have amazing voices and with those voices it is even easier to listen to the emotion of each character. This book is a steamy romance but I also caught myself many times cooing to the storyline with its many cute scenes. This is a story of two old lovers who reunite together, contemplating if all the barriers are worth a love that is so great. I would definitely recommend this book because it is definitely one that I loved!!!

Forbidden Romance / Second Chance to HEA

Trope - Forbidden Romance / Second Chances Adult Content i.e. explicity sex scenes & language I really enjoyed the story of Sloane & Malone and the journey they take to get to their HEA. I found it to be combination of forbidden romance i.e. Sloane is the daughter of Malone's business partner and second chances i.e. the one who got away when Malone found out who Sloane is (read/listen to prequel "Delayed Satisfication" for that story). I found the sex scenes and language tasteful and fitted perfectly into the story. I also loved it when characters from the "Big Rock" series made an appears and to discover the relationship that Malone has with those characters. Note, you do not have to have read the Big Rock series to read this book but for me I found it brought a smile to my face when I heard the names of the characters as it made me remember how much I loved that series. I look forward to continuing the series.

Storyline lacking

I wanted to like this book but found it didn't really have much of a storyline. The two lead narrators were good although the English accent sounded a bit forced. I didn't like to 'notes to self' parts and skipped through those they were annoying. There were some good funny parts in the story and I liked how Sloane admits to faking it during sex and then they take things slower. I will return this book as I won't listen to it again and hope the rest of the series gets better.

short and shallow

if Ms Blakely could create Malones I would advocate to make her a God!! he is perfect.....too perfect but I'm getting that with most of her books "thatsbhoe she rolls" I work for an animal protection society so I was smiling all the way through this. the storyline didn't have much to sink your teeth into but I looooooved the narrator's and the singing...it clicked with the plot of this book. I want to read the next one just for the cast but I'm in need of a gritty storyline so may put book 2 on the backburner......

loved the singing!

Story - 3 1/2 stars Satisfaction Guaranteed is a cute, and very easy to listen to story. The narrators were amazing, especially the male narrator. Wow, he can really sing. I loved the bonus at the end of the Audiobook of him singing, it was a wonderful addition at the end of the story. I do enjoy a sweet, second chance romance. Malone is a hot, singing vet, and Sloane is running an animal rescue from the veterinary practice - so no being able to avoid each other and their attraction here! A brief fling years ago had left them unable to forget the other. At the time, Sloane's father being Malone's business partner at the vets (and the senior partner at that) really put a damper on the possibility of a relationship. Moving back to the present - they are both still crazy for each other, and more willing to chase what they want. Very, very low on drama/angst - definitely listen to the audiobook, I'm glad I listened rather than read the ebook, as the narrators really added a lot to the story.
