Publisher's summary

Tasked with finding and eliminating the source of terrorist pirate activities off the coast of Honduras, SEAL Team 10's Jack "Fish" Fischer goes undercover as a deckhand on a floating medical boat where he finds himself protecting and falling for the beautiful doctor who runs the show.

Devastated by an auto accident that took the lives of her husband and baby daughter, Dr. Natalie Rhoades has dedicated her life to helping people who don't have access to good healthcare through her nonprofit floating medical boat. When she finds herself and her crew the target of a leftist guerilla group, her new deckhand proves resourceful.

Jack and Natalie fight to provide the care needed to the underprivileged while battling an attraction neither thought possible as the heat intensifies in Central America.

poor narration

Loved the story, but I was distracted by the voice of the narrator. He reminded me of an actor just learning to perform in front of an audience.

Bad story and worse narration..

OMG! Is it just me or are other’s tired of the heroine saying, “I can take care of myself?” It’s like it’s in every book lately. Jack wants Natalie to go back to the boat while he, and about 12 other Navy SEALs, look for a missing team member of Natalie’s. And out of her mouth comes that stupid line that authors have become so crazy about, and then guess what happened? Little Miss “I can take care of myself” got herself kidnapped.

And Natalie’s mad at Jack for not telling her he’s a SEAL. Really? They’ve known each other for 2 whole days, and had sex after one day. Why the heck should he tell her anything? If you’re only going to write 180 pages at least make it make sense.

If this had a heroine that was TSTL I’d be afraid the heroines in the other books would be too so I’ll pass on this author for now.

I did love all the SEALs. That's all this story had going for it.

There were 2 explicit sex scenes in this book and the F-bomb was used 12 times.

As to the narration: Hmmm… Gregory Salinas wasn’t very good. His voices were ok but he really sounded bored through the whole book. If he’d read with more emotion, some kind of feeling, he’d have been a much better narrator.
