    Cyclone Fina, which struck Darwin in November, brought wind gusts of nearly 200 km/h, toppling massive trees and causing damage to homes, cars, and infrastructure. It also resulted in widespread power outages, leaving around 20,000 households without electricity. Despite the extensive impact, no deaths or missing persons were reported. Our reporter from Darwin, Kylie says this was due to the lessons learned from a major cyclone 50 years ago, as well as the community’s knowledge and preparedness for such events. - 11月にダーウィンを襲ったサイクロン・フィナは、突風が時速200キロ近くに達し、巨大な木々を倒し、住宅や車、インフラに被害をもたらしました。また、約2万戸におよぶ広範囲の停電も発生しました。しかし、死者や行方不明者の報告はありませんでした。これは、50年前に起きた大規模なサイクロンから得た教訓と、サイクロンに備えるための知識と準備が生かされた結果だとされています。今週の「オーストラリアワイド」は、ダーウィン在住の海里カフさんのリポートです。
